the only two i don't have are the last two
i also don't plan on ever getting or playing either of them
EA isn't sure what to do now with C&C, but they haven't given up on it just yet

Guys, if we *quit* buying Renegade (or packs with Renegade in it) over and over again, we have a better chance of getting Renegade released as freeware. One of the reasons EA wouldn't is because it still sold.

EA isn't sure what to do with C&C at this time but they are finished done (milking it) with it yet. They have said that those who bought Ultimate Collection will still get access to the Alpha/Beta of the next C&C game, whatever that may be.

If that was true Populous The Beginning would be released as freeware.

Well, that was what Eric Krause mentioned as (one of) the reasons that they wouldn't release Renegade as freeware.

I only purchased Ultimate Collection so that I could implement scripts 4.0 compatibility with it.
That and it allowed me to get working copies of the other titles without the need to mess around a lot.
