it looks like they at least try to, but it just goes all wrong

they ban some players for cheating with no proof of anything, and others off of videos proving their innocence
it's actually pretty crazy


and afterwards they try to justify why they aren't removing any of the bans, even though their reasons why have been shown to make no sense at all

There hasn't been any evidence posted to suggest it's anything other than a server glitch. Reminds me of when I found a hidden Renegade feature that was pretty funny but caused people to get BIATCH banned.

Nope, we've had several issues where everyone gets kicked from the server because one random map file was blocked. Kind of irritating.

Yes, this is actually quite a problem we have. I mentioned for one of us to make a thread in the TT subforum about it, but I kinda forgot. Usually when we put a new map on we haven't tested, a whole 40-50 player game gets kicked out because of the anticheat.

I do remember it being an issue there. Now they rely on that screenshot tool to find cheats.. which can annoy people.

Yeah I agree about the principle and no I don't think he was cheating as I know him. But It's always hard to defend or fight for a player when they aren't trying themselves. Liquid you know me well enough to know I do my best to clear innocent players. I don't always have the power or cooperation. Smile I'm also the 1st to admit if I made a mistake. Hell I ban JPNod in like 2003 from my Renmasters server, later unban and apologized.

Why dont you worry about the server u play on? Noone besides the Jelly FanCrowd bitches about other Servers. Take care of Jelly, there is enough shit that needs to be fixed first, then u can maybe make a nicely attempt to focus on helping another community.

whether the guy defended himself or not is irrelevant when you can honestly say he was wrongly banned - you really should remove it, even if he never tries to join your server again

i'd probably be mad if i got banned from a server for cheating when i wasn't, especially when i went to great lengths to prove it, and that server's mods would later harass me about it anyways

i think a lot of people would put up huge numbers like that if they were presented the same opportunities he has (or at least had at MPF, based on what he was having elsewhere)
