on the first page, MDK says: without the evidence we can not ban people well we could but then we would become like other servers and that would be wrong

take a look at what they did to Iran
the irony is actually pretty humorous

however, if you take a look at the video it ignores a key point regarding Renegade physics: shooting in first person on an incline or decline will show the player shooting the ground sometimes
like i posted on the video, you can recreate this on Complex while firing from the ramps up to the middle and whatnot

I told Ethenal yesterday on IRC that it was first person lol. It's pretty annoying when you're actually playing and people do stuff like that to you when they're hardly or not out. :/

I'm going to double-post to mention one very important point. When "zunnie" talks about trolls, this is what he means:

Troll being defined, as usual, as someone who you disagree with but whose ideas you lack the intellectual capacity to rationally deal with. Why not just use "heretic" instead? It's closer to your real meaning.

MPF might want to stop posting IPs publicly like that
they don't have to; it's just common courtesy i think

zunnie's logic on Iran's ban was that they couldn't prove him a cheater, nor could they prove him innocent
that logic is bad, because literally anyone in Renegade could be cheating - that doesn't mean they're going to be good, and it doesn't mean you can or will be able to prove it lol

Hunter-Seeker claimed Iran had been a cheater not long before the ban
GenOBrien's thinking is that a player can only get 100+ kills if they die 100+ times in doing so - it shows they don't see many good snipers very often (this point is valid whether Iran was actually cheating or not, which he's shown he honestly did not have to to do what he did)

the MPF-should-unban list now includes three players (forgot Vulgina) Surprised

(1) This ban was 5 months ago. Why discuss now? Iran you that bored or can't find a ban like yours since you were ban so you have to go backwards in time? ehhh Enjoy!

(2) The Player NEVER posted to contest to state his case. Says a lot about guilt. Most innocents post immediately. So the player didn't care so why should anyone else? Had he posted maybe he would have been unban.

you should ban a full server of players and keep the ones that don't post banned on the premise that they were cheating lol

it's really about principle here - do you honestly think rambo6 was cheating there, once you take into consideration that the shots he took were fully legit? unless there's some other evidence somewhere that proves him a cheater, you should really release that guy
even if he never actually comes back, it's the right thing to do

and what ehhh said is true - rambo6 can't actually type words other than "hahahaha" or "wasted"

let vultima back in since his ban was really a misunderstanding or language barrier thing - he made a sarcastic comment that was taken as literally as possible

I got banned for 'cheating' in a two-bit server once. I didn't contest it because I realized the moderator team was comprised of illiterate, drooling retard jagoffs.

An entirely plausible situation in this case.
