I'm going to assume you Googled around after posting this, realized the senator who proposed it has done so at the beginning of each new Congress sitting since the start of the century.
I'm also going to assume you found out that the bill has been defeated each time.
I'm also going to hope that since you're RenegadeForums expert numero uno here on the US government, you'd know that a bill to repeal a constitutional amendment would require house approval, senate approval and approval from 3/4's of the states.
I recommend you stick to your theories that once the population possess glistening teeth and healthy gums, our collective smiles will reflect sunlight to Jupiter and send the signal for the impending alien invasion.

They repealed the 22nd amendment in the Watchmen, and Nixon repeatedly served as president.
Why would you worry about this happening when we have seen clear evidence to support that is would end up producing a great comic and movie adaption?

I don't think I've ever seen such ignorance.

Um, have you looked in the mirror?
Personally, I think the U.S. government is probably the most evil bureaucracy on the planet, yet I still think that nikki pretty much just shit all over the subject of this thread. Like he said, they're not about to just silently overturn the 22nd amendment.
If you're gonna wear a tinfoil hat, at least pick a better reason!(there are plenty, have you seen the news lately?)

Watchmen holds a 7.6 on IMDB four years after it's release, you can't say it isn't a good movie.
It's so loyal to the comic too (apart from the lack of a squid, which was probably the only dumb part of the comics), it really is a triumph!
I see no problem in repealing the 22nd amendment. Watchmen 2 would doubtlessly be amazing.

Wow let's move the goalposts some more, shall we?
I've worked in journalism as an editor and a reporter. Know why you didn't hear the 22nd Amendment story on the five-o'clock news?
Because it's stupid.
"OH GEE SOME DUMBASS SENATOR THAT REPEATEDLY MAKES BILLS NOBODY SUPPORTS WANTS THREE OBAMA TERMS! FUCK B-ROLL, WE'RE DOING IT LIVE!"
