I haven't actually bad mouthed MPF as much as people think, and I certainly wasn't going to do it in game inside their server. I only really comment on how "easy" it is to play there compared to other servers and how bad some of the maps are, apparently that is a major insult.

Potato, potatoe. We use to use that remember? Lol. That's what I'm getting at. The same people, for the most part. The only real difference is these guys act like St0rm did. You can't take a shit over there without someone deleting a post. That mentality is exactly the same as St0rm was.
I digress...reborn I'm sorry to see you guys finally close down MP. We may have had our differences and fights, but in my opinion it's a very sad day for Renegade. Strikey told dronez he may keep MissionDM running on one of his empty boxes, if he doesn't(and would be willing), RC would keep it up with the name staying the same. We've got a few running uselessly, shutting down one would be no big deal. "Some" people still play it, not many, but that's not the point.

I hear what you're saying, but I still dissagree. In fact, I would be irked if people thought that MPF was the legacy of MP, or what was left of it.
Yeah, it's a shame MP dwindled away, but it was the right thing to do. None of us could prioritise it anymore, unfortunately.
It's great to hear that Mission DM will still carry on, and I'd be pleased with DroneZ or RC running it, and making it their own.

I got demoted @ MP as a founder for being inactive, while i was online everyday. (lol)
Second the domain name ive aquired back in 2006, when MP was closing down.
After FM went down i came back to MP with that domain still in the background.
Zunnie and me wanted to do new things with the MPF domain, so we took a different choice that MP had in mind.
They didnt want to renew and expand to other games then APB , wich was the prior thing on MP-Gaming.
So thats why we left and started MPF.
Also i want to add that i do not want the Status of being a MP legacy affiliate, as we are a completely different community.

MPF seems to be getting new players all the time and has a very strong player base and a lot of great games. I personally like their veterancy system and other mods such as SBH pick up suit.

Shaitan, you're right... One of the reasons was due to the domain name (which as you pointed out, he confirmed himself... Very strange). I'm not sure why he is raging on you. o.0

I wasnt flaming or trolling, i just set some things straight.
I didnt fight about it as it was given to me back in 2006 when MP closed down like i said.
The only thing wich was wierd was they didnt want me and zunnie to use that domain for our new website.
And since i own the domain, and i was kicked from MP Staff, i just left and took the domain with me. simple right

that's not what i said tristt; don't twist my words lol (unless you didn't actually understand them)
his game play was disruptive (and they believe he was cheating)
((to clarify, a player that's cheating is disruptive - have you ever been in a server where someone was blantantly running shit?))
i've seen other servers ban players over the years for the same - it's understandable
it's not something i would do, but i can see where they're coming from
Vultima's ban, however, is a joke
