I had a friend of mine buy renegade so he can play it with me and xuis wont let him loggin threw the server list.

oh when did xuis change it?
ik for the longest time all you would have to do is put a user name and password in xuis's log in page and you would have a new game account.

It changed about a year ago (give or take a month or 2).

People with existing nicks probably didn't notice until later, or some might have never noticed. I'm not sure whether or not it is still possible to login with nicks registered before this system was introduced. New nicks must be created using this system.
