Argh my video card is horrible.

I need better fps badly no matter what the cost of quality.

Please tell me any and all ways to get more fps

Well, what video card do you have? Processor and speed? Amount of RAM?

Have you kicked it into 640x480 and drop all of the graphic detail to low? Color depth to 16-bit? Drop your sound quality down to 8-bit Mono with 11khz samples? Check off terrain casts shadows? Use Vertex Lighting mode and Bilinear filtering?

Oh come on! Geforce FX 5200 Ultra is about $100! Geforce 4 Ti 4200 less than $100! There are some reasonable good performers for not much money... Jeez just save up your cash, get a job, etc.

I have Geforce 2 MX 440. I run at 800 x 600 and all low quility, I get around 20fps on a 24 player server.

Tried playing Renegade at 640X480 yet? That "will" increase your fps if you're set higher than that... carful though.. your sniping will improve and morons will start acussing you of cheating.. Laughing

[EDIT: I also get around 40-70 fps when I run at 640X480 and I only have a 64 mb radeon 7000]

I have Geforce 2 MX 440. I run at 800 x 600 and all low quility, I get around 20fps on a 24 player server.

Whoa, I can get 30-40 on a 50 player server at 1024 x 786 at max settings Surprised
