Enforcing 4.0
The UltraAOW NewMaps server is now enforcing tt 4.0 to anyone that joins.
If you do not run 4.0 you will be kicked from the server.

What????
TT 4.0 is a set of updates to the Renegade Engine which includes anti cheat messures.
Another great thing about 4.0 is that it can download new maps while you are ingame Smile

You do not need to restart your game neither when a new map has been downloaded on the fly.

Get the CLIENT installer.

How????
Its simple, all you do is run the installer and it will detect your Renegade and install it.
For the more advanced users: Make a copy of your Renegade and call it RenegadeB5, then install into that folder.
Then, when RC1 is released you repeat the above and install into a folder like RenegadeRC1 Smile

This way you keep your original renegade in place and can always fall back if 4.0 for some reason doesn't (currently) work correct for you.
You however do need 4.0 to play on our server so you will have to get it fixed...

Thanks a lot people for joining our server and keeping it interesting for everyone.
Also our apologies for the server client crashing lately, some b00ner is attacking the server every now and then.
We are currently investigating the matter and hope we can pin down who is attacking us and take action.
