Did you go to my link, that is truely a grenade launcher. Listed as one. Those little 356 shells cannot hold enough explosives to be a grenade and grenades wouldnt come in clips like that. You dont know what you are talking about. Go to my link and there you will see what a real grenade launcher is, it was on the same site as your ak. Till you see a real launcher shut up.
|
Hello, dumbass. Hypocrytical retard. Damn, I mean, how dumb can you get?
Yes I did go to your link, that's a grenade launcher, and so is the one that Nodbugger made on his ak. You apparently didn't go to the link I posted, that grenade launcher IS LISTED AS A GRENADE LAUNCHER, you fucking moron. OMG, you've amazed me again, I didn't think you could get any dumber... You have no clue what you're talking about, there is no specified amount of explosives needed in a projectile to make it a grenade, you don't know how much of that bullet is the explosive projectile, and how much of it is the propellent. LOL, so grenades wouldn't come in magazines like that? Some one should go tell HK that, because they aren't as 'educated' as you... (the HK OICW's (http://world.guns.ru/assault/as40-e.htm) main feature is it's integrated Grenade launcher, which fires 20mm grenades, that are LOADED IN IT BY MAGAZINES. (btw, they're called 'magazines', not 'clips'.))
LOL... You come in here pretending like you're smart, but you don't even try to look anything up, or at least act like you know what you're talking about.

Theatrrap | If you could read you would have read that perhaps it is rigged for a grenade launcher, or perhaps even labled wrong, but that is definitely not a grenade launcher. Look at a real one, from the same site as your "grenade launcher". Your's cant be one.
|
So you know what their guns are, but the damn company that makes them doesn't?
A grenade launcher is just a gun that shoots explosive projectiles. The guns size, shape, design doesn't matter. The way the gun loads each grenade doesn't matter. The size of the explosive projectile doesn't matter.
Wait, lets consult a dictionary...
Dictionary.com | gre·nade
n.
1. A small bomb or explosive missile that is detonated by a fuse and thrown by hand or shot from a rifle or launcher.
2. A glass container filled with a chemical such as tear gas that is dispersed when the container is thrown and broken.

K, um, first of all, clip is also a proper way of talking about, in fact a more proper way, when it is a small clip that holds 6-12 bullets which is all that does, magazine is for something like a machinegun or an AR15 would have. Second, I know that things other than the standard looking grenade are grenades, I also know a large amount about explosives. The amount of explosive material capable of being in a shell that size is not big enough to do any damage except on a direct hit. If you were to hit the floor a foot away from a person, it would not even scratch them being that size. I assume they dont have any explosive material because it would be inefficient and stupid to make it that way but perhaps the makers of the AK assault riffles are the biggest idiots in the history of the world. So mabey you are right.

Ooo, completely wrong again.
The size and and capacity has nothing to do with it. It's a magazine, not a clip. A magazine is either internal or external, and holds the ammunition that is being fed into the gun. The clip is INSIDE the magazine, and is what actually does the loading. The clip, in this case, is the spring/plate below the ammunition that pushes it up into the gun. In another example, the m1 garand has an internal magazine, the ammo is loaded into this magazine by inserting a clip with bullets attached to it into the magazine. A magazine is just a place or object where ammunition is stored inside, in this case, a small box that is inserted into a gun.
http://www.angelfire.com/art/enchanter/clip.html
If you were to hit the floor a foot away from a guy with an explosive projectile the size of a .357, it would seriously damage the leg, and would most likely result in the loss of the leg if not treated. The grenade fired by the OICW is a 20mm projectile, which is roughly .78cal, which is twice the size of the grenade in question, the 20mm grenade is capable of taking out an entire room.
Inefficient? How would it be inefficient to use a semi-automatic grenade launcher that uses magazines, which can be quickly loaded into the launcher, and holds around 10-15 grenades which probably have an effective blast radius of around 2-3 feet?
Give it up already... You know absolutely nothing about guns, ammunition, or explosives. You don't even try to do at least a little research to see if you're correct, you just 'assume' something is what it is or isn't because it doesn't look right to you.

Theatrrap | You are the biggest idiot in the world. As far as the clip magazine terminology I guess I have been taught wrong. However, I have been in the military for 7 years and just served in the last gulf ending my enlistment. I know something about amunition and guns having used them quite effectively I might add. I think I probly know a little more than you.
|
LOL...
I'm the biggest idiot in the world? Now how is that? Everything I've said in here has been correct, you on the other hand, didn't know shit about anything and still can't face reality.
Does anyone else think that you're just lying about you being in the military? If you were in the military for 7 years, how is it you don't know the difference between a clip and a magazine? Or what a grenade launcher is? Or what are considered grenades?
"I think I probly know a little more than you." Than you thought wrong, and you've done absolutely nothing to prove otherwise.

And also like nodbugger said, how were you only in 7 years? My friend is about 28 and has about 5 years of service to go.

It's more like, the term, not just the proper term.
'Clip' is mistakenly used alot as 'magazine'. The clip is the device inside the magazine that loads or inserts the ammunition into the gun, the magazine is what the ammunition is stored in.
(I'd bet this came from when the m1 garand was in use... The bullets that were loaded into the internal magazine, were loaded with a clip that held the cartridges together to make loading faster. I think most people just assume that that's the same thing as sticking a magazine into a modern gun.)
|
True, i don't use guns with magazines anyway. \
Ill just stick with my Bolt Action and 12 gauge. Im a hunter, thats all so I can't say i know alot about a M-16.

Theatrrap | Hi, I would first off like to appologize for my brother. He got on after I showed him the gun and sent all that stuff. He was in the military for 7 years. He enlisted at 17 with a waver and then reenlisted early to get a bonus so after three he enlisted for four again. As for the clip magazine thing they are used interchangably by his group. What can I say, they aren't in it for the english lessons. Anyway, I wont let him post anymore (he dont know my pass word lol) so you wont hear anymore fighting. Bye.
|
Right...
Now excuse me while I don't believe you.
