well he's not even bothering to defend himself from the accusations so that's a sure sign he's guilty

I doubt he cheated. If he did, that means the other top contestants in the Tour also cheated, otherwise they'd never be able to keep up with him.

In testimony in that case, Armstrong's former teammate, Frankie Andreu, and Andreu's wife, Betsy, said they had overheard Armstrong admitting to doctors when he was undergoing cancer treatment that he had used steroids, human growth hormone and EPO while cycling.

Here is a list of the "actual" winners of Lance's tours. It is amazing that in some cases the tour was actually "won" by the eighth place finisher.
http://www.sfgate.com/sports/slideshow/Winners-in-the-Lance-Armstrong-Tour-years -47940.php
For some reason, it is in slide show format, so here are all of the captions:
1999: This was Lance Armstrong's break out year in the Tour de France. He captured his first Tour victory, but if he is stripped, Alex Zulle (right) might be the next in line. He also tested positive but not in 1999.
1999: So if you want to remove Zulle because of past doping offenses, Fernando Escartin is your 1999 Tour winner. Escartin finished third in the 1999 Tour.
2000: If you take Lance's name off the top of 2000, his archrival Jan Ullrich is next in line. Of course, he has his own doping issues that have resulted in his own suspension.
2000: If you toss out Ullrich, Fernando Escartin becomes a two-time Tour de France winner. He also becomes a back-to-back winner. More shocking, Escartin would have won by finishing eighth.
2001: This is a similar situation to 2000. If Lance's win is voided, Jan Ullrich wins. If you want to remove him, the late Andrei Kivilev wins the Tour.
2002: Joseba Beloki has a rich connection to Lance Armstrong that most people don't realize. Beloki nearly killed himself during the 2003 Tour, forcing Lance to take to the field. So if you remove Lance, Beloki wins the Tour in 2002.
2002: Joseba Beloki isn't the cleanest rider and does have a dodgy history. So if you want to knock him off too, Lance Armstrong's teammate Jose Azevedo would win the Tour in sixth place.
2003: The 2003 race was one of the closest of Lance Armstrong's Tours. If you remove him, Haimar Zubeldia, who later would ride on Armstrong's Radioshack team, would be crowned the winner. That's if you remove Ullrich.
2004: Andreas Kloden wins the 2004 Tour de France if you remove Lance from the record books. Like Lance, Kloden has never tested positive, but he has faced accusations in the past. If he doesn't win, Jose Azevedo wins his second Tour.
2005: In Lance's swan-song Tour, Ivan Basso would pick up the Tour. Basso, who was a favorite in the post-Lance years, would miss the 2006 Tour and face a ban for "attempting to dope.
2005: If you really want to remove Basso and Lance from the final standings, Cadel Evans (pictured) is your new 2005 winner. He finished eighth in the Tour that year. You could also argue that American Levi Leipheimer could have been the winner since he didn't test positive that year.

It's all part of the big illusion that we perpetuate on ourselves and in turn is perpetuated upon us. When we believe, we engage the illusion. When we stop believing we shatter the illusion and shatter ourselves in the process. Because we are, part of it.

America: 315 million inhabitants, 81 medals

81/315 = 0.25 medals/million inhabitants ratio

Netherlands: 17 million inhabitants, 15 medals

15/17 = 0.88 medals/million inhabitants ratio

you need to consider the fact that 1/3 of americans are obese
i don't think many obese people win gold medals in anything

Since the whole thing was olympics based.

Weightlifting, disco, shotput, javelin, hammerthrow and wrestling I think.

Are some examples.
