Hey,
Sometimes it would be handy to have an exact copy of what you said on Teamspeak. Whether it's because you need it for audit purposes, or whether you just want to have a copy of exactly what it is you said, so no one can ever challenge it, there's no denying that it would be useful to have a recording of everything you say over Teamspeak.
Sure, TeamSpeak has a record functionality. It's very good.
However, it isn't always that practical. You have to navigate the menu to start recording, or use the short-cut of control shift & r each time you want to record. Then you choose where you want to save the file, too.
If you wanted to record everytime you spoke, it would soon become an irksome task. Plus, it's not very discreet. You show a big red recording sign when this is active, and it might make others feel un-easy.
This Plug-In, developed right here at MP-Gaming, solves this issue...
After you've installed the plug-in, every time you activate your talk status in Teamspeak (either push-to-talk or voice activation) the plug-in immediately starts recording input from your microphone.
When you've finished talking, it will then save this as a .wav file, with a relevant date and time stamp to your "MyDocuments\Teamspeak3Recordings".
While you will need to perform house-keeping on this directory, the files are super small, and even a days worth of continuos recording would not take up much space.
The Plug-In has been written using the Win32 development kit, so is un-likely to work with 64 bit TeamSpeak installations. However, with interest it could be developed.
