Hey RenegadeForums,
For those who don't know me, I've been around the block in the Renegade Community and have provided a lot of resources. Today I am coming here to share my KickStarter project FaultTrack, which you may have heard of in the past.

For the past year and a half I've been developing a next generation bug tracker for the software industry, and I would really like to get it into the hands of developers, but I need your help.
To do this, I started a KickStarter project which has all the juicy details.

In short, the goal of this project is to change the way the world thinks about bug tracking in software development, and provide the superior experience to developers that doesn't exist in today's bug tracking software that's available.
So, I'm asking for your help to spread the word, to get involved, and there are rewards in return for backing the project (see the KickStarter page). I care very much for the software industry, which is why I've been doing this project, but it requires everyone possible, not just myself.
All in all I'm raising $15,000 to help fund the remainder of the project, which is only a small portion of the total cost to finish the software (I put my own money into this as well), but I need your help. So if you like software, if you're a developer of a sort, I would love to have you involved in this project.

15,000 is quite the ambitious target... not sure you will be able to raise that in just one month... but still, good luck to you. I read through your KickStarter page and they key point I felt was missing is a summary of *why* existing solutions are not optimal and how FaultTrack aims to improve on those solutions.
Also... no love for us C++ & WinForms developers?

The real-world cost to develop it is much more, but that's neither here nor there.
I'm not very great at advertising and marketing, so I am making revisions as to the "why" the next few days (and I updated it after your opinion as well), maybe even an updated video. The main why's are:
1) Superior user experience
2) First 'modern' bug tracker on the Windows Desktop and not the web in a long time
3) Specifically designed for CLR application development (so the entire feature set is geared towards managed languages)
4) Automated bug tracking (something as far as I know no bug tracker on earth has yet)
5) Affordable, and doesn't force you to use specific version control systems.
(I put the full list on the page at the top)
Also, it will work just fine for C++ and WinForms, since you are running under the CLR on .NET (C++/CLI). The main difference is that the actual fields are targeted specifically towards CLR languages. I know that native C++ has Exceptions, but I'm not sure how similar they are to CLR Exceptions, and I know for sure that the debugger services are quite different from the ones for the managed languages.
