He didn't get good overnight at clanwars, just because he wasn't a character that stood out much since he wasn't a mouthy prat.
He started clanwars when he was in the Kobra clan, which was like 5 years ago, and was terrible at first yes, but then he started playing clanwars everyday pretty much for a long period of time with his clanwar partner being prplhazd, you can probably go look at the cw.cc rankings if they date back that far.
