limiting yourself by playing by a set of rules that Starbuzz obviously does not follow, you are simply setting yourself up to be a whiny scrub and should learn how to play.

I read that article a few years ago. It sounds dramatic, but it didn't just change how I play, it changed my life.

Aye, friend. This takes me back to a time where I was working as a physiotherapist at a hospital in Germany during World War II, back in 1997. This particular ward I was assigned to dealt with poor chaps who could not walk due to ailments such as broken legs, cerebral pausy, ingesting 3 bottles of whiskey and the like.
On this particular day, the patients were coming in thick and fast. The sky was a menacing black colour that gave illustration to the morbid song of clanging surgical utensils and franticly given orders.
A fresh patient arrived. While getting up to make a coffee, he stubbed his toe on a couch. The doctor reluctantly glanced at his family and said "I'm sorry, he won't make it". Just before they turned his life support off, I shouted "WAIT, I can save him!"
I reached into my briefcase, and pulled out 3927 copies ofPlaying to Win, by Sirlin.net, flung them in front of the 38M Diamter industrial fan and ran out of the ward waving my arms around like a Windmill and making Zoidberg noises. The propagation of a curious sound emerged, and I slowed my run. Was it hailing? I looked up to the dark sky once more, but no hail was to be seen. The sound grew louder, and louder. It was like the sound of metal clanging against a stone path. I turned around, and so it was.
I stood there, frozen in bewilderment. Hundreds of patients running towards me, their metal leg braces disintegrating and falling to the ground mid flight. I gazed at the sky once more; sunlight pierced through the once dark veil of clouds, and a rainbow most likely created by nyan cat spanned the width of the horizon.
It was then I realised they were my Forest Gump's, and I was their Patch Adams. It sounds dramatic, but it didn't just change how I play, it changed my life.

c0vert7 sucks at Renegade; don't worry about it Starbuzz
i've noticed that, no matter what a player does, they can be criticized by idiots for it
winning by points = pointwhoring
being successful with an arty = arty whoring
being successful in a mammy = mammy whoring
successfully defending = camping
killing the harv = harv whoring
successfully winning by ped = ped noob
etc.
this is also the same c0vert7 that used r-g-h and lied about it; don't waste your time arguing with a past cheater
why is DJ trying to tell ACK (sorry, i will forever associate those letters with Aircraftkiller) anything about anything? he's not on the same mental level, nor does he have a legitimate argument or a reason to butt in
and yet he won't hesitate to accuse me of doing the same, even though i'm right and he's wrong
there are stupid people in every game; Renegade has never been an exception
and on the topic of volt auto rifles - why shouldn't they get a range increase? in order for them to do damage to infantry they are just about within pistol range
in order for them to damage an enemy vehicle they have to be dangerously close while exposing themselves for prolonged periods of time
if the driver of the vehicle isn't a complete, helpless idiot then the Mobius or Mendoza is in serious danger
and yet they cost the same as a PIC, rav, havoc, or sakura
figure that shit out; giving them a range bonus just makes sense, if you care about making them worth their cost
maybe DJ doesn't give a fuck about them because he can't invisihug with them

Well jelly is the only server im banned in for *cheat name removed*because I lagged killed anthrax, was a very cotroversial ban with no proof beyond the word of spoony. Apparently he has indepth knowledge with ISP, and regardless the words of people who actually work in the field its not possible but thats ok I find marathon uninteresting and beyond the rare occasions when jelly is only server full I have very little interest of going in. Thats usually the time of popping in the RA2 disc or something of equal interest.
