OK, I am sick and disgusted of being called a "camper" and "camping" when I am DEFENDING MY BASE.
I am only talking about Renegade here.
So from what I understand, camping is when a player usually sits in one area with a big weapon or a vehicle making it harder and nearly impossible for the enemy team to pass thru.
Sure that gets annoying after a while but does anyone think that such a fellow is not being useful to the team? Say you try to sneak into the Nod ref on Volcano only to find a arty hiding near the tunnel kill you.
-didn't that arty just do something useful for the enemy team even though it could be elsewhere?
It doesn't matter what you think because anything you say against that arty player is instantly voided by the above point. PERIOD.
to those who employ the word "camper" or "camping" I think you greedy bashers should admit the obvious and move on.
Just like the word "pointwhore" which is used to demonise players who are doing a useful thing, the word "camping" and "camper" I believe is used by those uptight players that are greatly inconvenienced by it. And nearly everyone is guilty of accusing others of it while refusing to acknowledge that the real reason for their frustration is the nature of a bunkered down enemy who is making life difficult for them.
Just remember, when you accuse someone of "camping" you are only saying what a unthinking individual you are. I bet the vast majority of people who use the word won't mind a "camper" or two in their own team.
There are several ways to win the game:
1)base destruction
2)ped beacon
3)pointslead at game end
it is completely accepted and well within Renegade gaming norms to increase pointslead or keep the pointslead while keeping the rats out of the base and winning that way. Absolutely legit and there is no defense against it. Anyone who disagrees is a blowhard.

Well clearly you have no life if your making multiple topics in multile forums because someone called you a camper.
As I stated in the other forum, camping is waiting for an attack so you can stop it.
Defending is stopping an attack, seeing as you had your LT camped at the tunnel entrance WAITING for us to rush you are camping. Its simple if you can only win a game camping tanks and adv soldiers when your fighting free inf you should go try pacman or something. 
As for what your doing wrong, is nothing, I never said you did anything, however I did say it was pathetic which im sure you already know that.
As for quotes you cant say I like the color green in one message than say you hate the color green and not have anyone notice. Its completely in context of taking away your creditibility in the conversation. Clearly you dont even know what your mad about.

Whose standards are we judging this by? Yours? Seeing how you have difficulty understanding the point of the game (Attack/defend/win at all costs) and are limiting yourself by playing by a set of rules that Starbuzz obviously does not follow, you are simply setting yourself up to be a whiny scrub and should learn how to play.
/Also, you were born in 1984 but you graduated from high school in 2010?

Sorry ack I dont have an english major so I cant type things up to your standards. Nor do I care tbh, I have no one to impress here. (Under the circumstances I obtain it, you will be the first to see me in action  )
And yes they are by my standards because he is directing the post at me.
As for when I was born I dotn see where you got 1984 but it was 1991.
I also am sure star is a big boy and can handle answering for himself so not sure what your intentions are in this topic.

You will lie so much will you? You make it seem that this magical Light Tank of Starbuzz was waiting the whole game with techs and Saks at the Nod entrance.
I was all over the place, hitting Ref (which you now admit at NS forums that I did), donating to a player so he can get Rocket Officer to hit Ref and increase pointslead, etc etc and falling back to supporting my team with Light.
Do you just want me to get my Light killed so you can have a nice time getting the victory? Not!

that's it then. You have no case. you only used the words "camper" and "camping" because we outplayed you and held on to our points. You hate me now for doing that.
You have yet to explain how my actions with the Light Tank are not legitimate and not appropriate for Renegade. This is all coming down to "sour grapes."
As AK puts it, by not wanting to concede you are wrong, you are setting yourself up to rant on endlessly.

with this low level of a arrogant murderous statement, and not at all addressing the points I raised in this thread and at the thread at NS, the issue is closed on this footing:
-you have not explained why exactly my in-game actions are wrong
-you have been proven wrong as to what really happened in-game and hence found to be lying.
-it is now clear that your ragefest in-game yesterday night has nothing to do with any sort of strategy or a better way of doing things but, as abundantly demonstrated by the disusting post quoted above, this is a matter of ego-centrism, loathing, and sour grapes towards another player.
Thanks c0vert, I learned a lot about you! You do know that I am a very light-hearted individual don't you? To think you are getting under my skin...oh my; you are not fooling anyone. I didn't do this cos of some misplaced rage but to prove something (which I have done pending you disproving it) and as a bonus, with that sick post quoted above, everyone knows more about you also.
Just remember what a big pipe of hot air you are blowing on next time you call someone a "camper" or use the word "camping."

On the other hand, you really can't "camp" in Renegade. It's different in other games such as CoD, BF, where you can kind of "camp" the flag, bomb, corners, etc. But, that could also be classified as defending.
In Renegade, you have an ENTIRE base to defend. You can't even really camp the entire base by yourself; you're constantly checking buildings to see where people are.
But, badkids will be badkikds and whenever people complain or bitch about camping in Renegade, I just assume they're retarded, or a COD kid.
