I have recently downloaded Renegade after being inactive for years, and im thrilled to restart my C7C adventure. But when i want to play Renegade Online it says;
"Your installed version of Westwood Online is incompatible with this product. Please reinstall the westwood online component"
I have no idea where that westwood online component is, is it a patch or something?
PLEASE HELP!

I'm always putting down question marks as someone says 'downloaded'.
If you downloaded it illegally, you won't be able to play online anyway so don't bother solving it.
If not, this is from the FAQ sticky ( http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=25765&start=0&rid=2 3454):

When I go online, I get a message "incompatible version of Westwood Online (WOL)
Solution
Normal Renegade
If you have normal ren (not the first decade), this is usually because you installed an older C&C-game (red alert 2, for exemple) after renegade and you installed WOL for it.
It will then install an older version of WOL over the renegade version and you'll get an incompatibility message.
To solve this, just launch the setup on the install disc and only select the WOL components to be installed. It'll reinstall WOL and your problem should be solved.
