recently i start using it

i find that when descending and also firing away rockets upwards towards enemy pilot, the missile seem to lock in more. was surprised it actually hit and brought health of enemy pilot to yellow.

Apache rockets are better that orca rockets, or use to be, dunno whether tt fixed it.

Apache and Orca rockets are identical. They use the same weapon preset in the database and always have.

Rockets are only useful in situations where you're unable to hit the enemy aircraft with your machine gun without having to maneuver into position to fire. While maneuvering to fire your gun, you're better off firing the rockets until your gun can hit.

You can also use them to destroy an enemy unit a little bit quicker or if you know your vehicle will be destroyed you can do a little bit more damage with the rocket just before you die.
