FlaminGunz wrote on Wed, 09 May 2012 03:09 | thats your opinion of tattoos?...pretty sad, i thought ewd's was bad!
dogs mark their territory to say its theirs and to discourage others from coming around....like many other animals.
i dont really see how getting a tattoo is anything remotely like that. I certainly dont know anyone that gets a tattoo to overtly tell others that their body is theirs or tell people to fuck off....i guess some gang tattoos might discourage people tho
and yeah they do tend to have a bad connotaion as i said, but i think thats more from older generations that dont understand younger generations. It seems its much less looked down on with people of my generation, but i guess that differes between countries/geog and what kind of society your brought up in
meh, analogy doesnt make that much sense to me, but i guess thats your view.
as i ssaid, mines also going to be on my ribcage, one of my criteria was to ensurfe its always covered in day to day life. Its definitely not just to show people or mean anything like stay away haha!

LOL! I'm not saying tattoos are bad. I'm saying that I think that if you do put on something permanent on your body, you should know for certain what it means. If you cannot read it yourself and it's not a text given to you by some special person, then why put it on your body?
Tattoos with a personal meaning can be extremely beautiful and fitting. Tattoos which incorporate Chinese because of you designing something in Korea does not seem well though of to me. As Reborn states, why Chinese if your experience is in Korea? And, if you want it in Chinese, you should carefully decide on which Chinese language.
I was trying to encourage you to think this through. From what I've heard it's a rather painful process to have it removed.
