Seriously dude...

Stop, now, while your ahead...

#1: no one knows you, and some people on other projects have went through the rigerous tasks of getting community to trust there applications and software (me being one of them, do you know how hard it was to release my first program 1 week after <name not mentioned> released a program to steal serial numbers?

#2: if you can't even code a web page with FrontPage properly, what makes us believe that you can lead a project like preventing cheats in Renegade?
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 4.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
<title>New Page 1</title>
</head>

#3: do you totally insist on constantly mocking everything that has been built in this community? or are you just trying to grab everyones attention?

#4: your "modding community" that you are trying to develop from the looks of your post on the CLAN forum, uhmm, there has been, and is already something like that, its called Renegade Evolutions, all the top modders and programmers for Renegade are apart of that.

#5: please keep it up though, alot of people are venting some much needed frustration & getting a good laugh at all this "evidence" and crap you keep posting up.

#6: life sucks, then you die, keep asking questions about our progress, we will answer, keep smapping™ the forum with how much we suck and are going to intentionally ruin our reputations with the community (and me with at least 3 gaming companies) by trying to steal your $9 serial number... yeah.... this way we can have more fun at your expense... god i love the laughter, been a while

#7: liek omg...
Quote:

Legitimate hackers. No script-kiddies. I can get those from Yahoo! chats any day of the week. I need a couple more people like myself to do some high-level analysis of some tools that have been produced and conceptualize ways to counter them.

high level analysis of some tools that have been produced... here is your "free" high level analysis

1. its a 3d model, they changed it
2. its a preset database, they edited it.

wow, thats some high level sheite!!!!

#8: again, liek omg...
Quote:

Generally the same as the hackers. I need someone who's familiar with cracking code and keys (preferably with a strong programming background).

are YOU trying to steal our serial numbers and passwords, decipher them, and use them for your own good? sounds like it, as that is the ONLY cracking that would need to be done in renegade to require a "cracker".

#9:
Quote:

we have some stuff in beta and some programs on newer versions (2.xx)

really.... according to this:
Quote:

The powerhouse of my project. I need experienced programmers of all languages. When I find out more about the specific languages we're working with, I'll post specific requests. However, ALL help is needed right now.

your not even sure what language to program it in, because you don't know any (and as stated in #2) not even basic html.

#10:
Quote:

People that really know the game. The "|NINJA|s". People that know the bugs and have experience with mods.

again, sounds to me like you are making an Anti-Anti-Cheat group... hackers & crackers, plus exploit knowledge = cheat central?

dude, seriously

Quote:

Now go away, or i shall taunt you a second time

oh, one more quick note....

Quote:

I understand that there are already anti-cheat projects in the works. However, everyone is attempting to do this independent of themselves.

independent of themselves... "riiiigggghhhhhttt"

*has an out of body experience and his soul starts making an anti-cheat project...

shut up, and go away, kthnx

LOL! Tell me about it. I mean just look at the team we have. With the exception of FearHQ who not many know, every member of the team is publically known to have made vast contributions to the Renegade community. Hundreds of dollars and hours upon hours of time, coding, etc all to improve the community by providning services and applications.

Meanwhile, just who the hell are you? You come out of nowhere bashing our project and the people in it, and spouting off about Tsunami team which is all smoke and mirrors. You say that WE are in it only for the fame and dont care about the game, but our track record proves otherwise. What does your track record show? You don't have one! You are a NOBODY who just talks a lot of talk and its plain to see your only purpose here is to rile people up and make them question our actions.

Too bad your plan has backfired though, by putting us in the spotlight in an attempt to reveal our flaws, you only made us sparkle brighter Razz

Begone troll. The community knows who its friends are, and we stick together. Once RenGuard is released and endorsed by Greg Underwood, the seeds of doubt you are trying to plant will dry up and blow away, and you will fade back into the nothingness from whence you came.

Viva la Resistance!
OK, I'll switch my focus from helping the community to destroying it.

How's that EMPEROR DANTE?

(1)A lot of people know me. Maybe you don't, but ask just about anyone in GSA. I'm sure they'll tell you they've at least heard of me. But that's besides the point. I mean, we're not here for fame are we Dante?

(2)Don't fucking copy the source of a quickly thrown up frontpage document and think you're making me look stupid. I even told everyone that I threw it up very quickly. It would take two seconds to make the main page into asp or a simple frameset --- then add a javascript that prevents you from viewing the source. Or, further, writing an algorithm to encode the source. I didn't put effort into the site at first ... and to be honest I'm playing with web design. I'm real sure that all of your sites are hosted at your house on a webserver that you personally set up and secured, and written in pure html via notepad. Hmmm. Let me go check right now.
Well, BlazeRegulator.com is running IIS5(win2k) and appears to be hosted through a company and not from your home network. And the domain was purchased through godaddy.com. Ironically registered to Crimson (like every other site she tries to monopolize on).
So, what program do you use to update your site? Frontpage? Dreamweaver? By the way you're missing your meta tags. You might want to undelete them along with the rest of the header information you took out.
(4)RenEvo is completely different than what I was trying to run. RenEvo does its own thing. I'm not trying to run anything or lead anything. You idiots keep thinking that and I keep telling you that's not true. I'm trying to coordinate efforts between different groups. But hey, you can pick your ass all day and boast about your super program that will eventually be cracked. I don't give a shit anymore.
(5)Vent all you want. I'm not intimidated by anyone here because there are probably only 3 people on your team (and you're not one of them) that have more programming experience than me based off what you've said on the fourms. So it's not like I'm overly impressed. I've been playing the game ... not working on mods, skins, maps, or patches like you guys do. If I would have got into that in the first place like you, I'd be right next to you right now and probably on your teams. Again, you don't know anything about me.
(6)I never once worried about you stealing my serial. It'd be plain as day that you did --- in which case I'd report the illegal activity and it'd be done. I never accused you of stealing serials. That's stupid.
(7)Keep thinking like that. That mindframe will lead you to produce something that will be cracked in weeks.
(8 )I already have a serial generator. whooptie fucking do.
(9)When I initially posted the request for programmers and designed that webpage's content --- it was WELL before you had announced RenGuard ... and WELL before anyone was discussing these cheats. I didn't know what language everything was written in because I was a gamer, not a programmer. Now I've switched gears. So excuse me. And, again, I know HTML quite well. I just don't sit in front of my website 24/7 like you guys do.
(10) You'll never know, will you? If I keep encountering stuck up dickheads like you I may very well do that.
"...independent of themselves..." was a simple gramatical error. Kind of like you mispelling the word "like" (near #7). Get over it.

I'm not going anywhere. Nor is there anything you can say that will discourage me or deter me. I've fought with the ugliest blackhats in the underground before in a full blow war. Arguments and flames on a forum are petty shit. You don't scare me Commander-in-chief Dante and your army of goons. Go ahead and tell Crimson to ban me from the forums too (I know you're considering it). What good will that do? I'm sure this nice little blurb of php hypertext processor code you call a forum resides on a quality network with HIDS, NIDS, f/w's, quality syslogs, and coorelation systems. Sounds fun!

You know, I didn't really know you until this experience. And come to find out you like to boast about your work and work for fame. Then you flame everyone who opposes you.

Well, my friend ... if you want to play in the big boy world on big boy turf -- I'll play your game. It's been years, but I'm ready to 'get back to it''. Then the community can blame your ass for the stupid comments you said to fl00d3d that triggered it. You truely would have been better off to get to know me and "tame me" (as some have put it in the past) and use me to your advantage --- not demise.

Good day to you.

Fancy colours and tough words aren't going to win you any penis-size contest, kiddo. Maybe instead of working against them, picking and proding at the efforts, and generally being a fucktarded little boy, you could try working WITH the team on a software which is already under development.

But, if you want, you can stick to your yellow text and picking fights with blackhats in the underground until someone thinks you're worth something.
BTW, nice site. Wink

OMG any web developer worth their shit knows META tags aren't used anymore. FYI, BlazeRegulator.com was designed by a guy named Carl, which he converted to HTML. Dante and I coded the rest of it, and both of us use notepad equivalents. Personally, I use TextPad. I don't think Cisco would have just hired me to do a lead management system for their networking academy if I were some FrontPage or DreamWeaver loser.

I don't know what you think "coordinating efforts" is if not leading. It doesn't take any skill for you to say "Hey, mac, talk to Bob. He's doing some anti-cheat too".

We didn't flame you. Remember this. We merely tried to tell you that we already have a project, already have the resources, already have a leader.. .and had no use for the assistance you were offering. Now if you came in and said you want to help secure RenGuard because you are a hacker, then we would have listened. The telemarketer doesn't scream at you and threaten to tear your house down because you don't need your carpets cleaned. They just hang up.

So, well before Renguard was announced he was looking for people who had experiance in programming (as he "was a gamer [with little or no knowledge of programming because he didn't even know what language things were written in], not a programmer")... because he was trying to create an anti-cheating program for renegade. Now he has more programming experiance than Dante and most other people as he now works for the DoD... Wow. I want his training. If I can learn all that is necissary to participate in full blown blackhat wars, AND be hired by the DoD in UNDER A YEARS WORTH OF TRAINING..WOW! Again, I want to have his training! OK, I'll switch my focus from helping the community to destroying it.
How's that EMPEROR DANTE?

Please choose a side and stick with it. One day you call us all a bunch of amatuers looking to steal serial numbers, and the next you apologize and say you are happy with the team, and the next after that you are in full on attack mode. Seriously, are you bipolar?

fl00d3d

I'm real sure that all of your sites are hosted at your house on a webserver that you personally set up and secured, and written in pure html via notepad. Hmmm. Let me go check right now.

Yeah, let's run production websites on our cablemodem connection at home, with 128k upstream, but say that we have an eleet OpenBSD/ipf firewall and that will make it okay

fl00d3d

Well, BlazeRegulator.com is running IIS5(win2k) and appears to be hosted through a company and not from your home network. And the domain was purchased through godaddy.com. Ironically registered to Crimson (like every other site she tries to monopolize on).

Yes BlazeRegulator.com is hosted on a decent link by community members. Whats wrong with that? And what the hell does it matter that it was registered via godaddy.com, or are you just showing off your skills at using the "whois" command? And its not "ironic" that Crimson registered the domain, as she has been involved in most of the larger Renegade community projects, its not a monopoly, its participation. Oh and META tags havn't been used by search engines since like the year 2000.

fl00d3d

I've been playing the game ... not working on mods, skins, maps, or patches like you guys do. If I would have got into that in the first place like you, I'd be right next to you right now and probably on your teams.

YOU SAID IT RIGHT THERE. You are obviously a fairly intelligent person, but you have little to no experience with the inner workings of Renegade. Why is it so hard for you to trust that the RenGuard team, which every member of has intimate knowledge of the way Renegade works, to provide a quality anti-cheat solution? I'm getting really tired of all the flaming and arguing back and forth about everyones experience, the bad things they could do etc...just STFU and when RenGuard is out you can evaluate it and choose whether to use it or not. We are providing a solution to the problem, its your choice to use it or not. All this hubub you are causing is doing nothing but distracting us from our work.

fl00d3d

Go ahead and tell Crimson to ban me from the forums too (I know you're considering it). What good will that do? I'm sure this nice little blurb of php hypertext processor code you call a forum resides on a quality network with HIDS, NIDS, f/w's, quality syslogs, and coorelation systems. Sounds fun!

Making all out threats now are you? Dude...serious are you bipolar or something? You need to chill. So far you have been mostly amusing, but I don't take kindly to threats...don't push it.

fl00d3d

You know, I didn't really know you until this experience. And come to find out you like to boast about your work and work for fame. Then you flame everyone who opposes you.

Ummm nobody boasted about anything. It was you sir who said basically "You are a bunch of idiot amatuers why should the community trust you or believe you would do a good job", so we replied with our credentials, which speak for themself. Its not a boast to list your accomplishments and skills when someone challenges them.

Not worth my time.

I took my site down. I hope you produce something that's worth talking about. I started playing this game for recreation. Then as my love grew for the game I got deeper into it (running sites, training people, purchased a 768k upstream package so I could host from my house, etc).

Then it got all political.

This is a game. And it's giving me a tumor just arguing over it. After much thought, I figured the best way to defend myself would be to take the site down and do my own thing. I don't feel like this is going anywhere (one way or another) because everyone is flaming irrationally and immaturely.

I do, however, stick to my claims of my knowledge. And maybe sometime I'll have the chance to display that for you. Who knows. (And just for the record I've been messing with computers since I was 6 years old ... so I don't know where that guy got a one year training pipeline). Oh, and you might want to read this: http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/ . Its one of the latest recommendations and in it there is a section on meta tag usage.

Whatever the result of all this mess --- I'm not going to sweat over it anymore. I know in my heart who I am and what I know. Maybe it wasn't approached the correct way ... but it doesnt really matter anymore.

Again, good luck to you and enjoy the game.

i use notepad.exe from windowsXP pro with the status bar showing to program php, asp, jsp, html, xml, xsl, and cold fusion coding then i use wsftp Pro to upload to my site (iPowerWeb.com, save you the time trying to find my host)

BR .Net was my first attempt at VB .Net, which is not a simple language like the dumb VB 6.0 and previous, it actually requires brainpower etc.. but is still no asm, C++, C#, or perl

you been programming since you where 6 on those $11k amiga's, ibm, and motorola computers hoss?

if that isn't "all" that you think they are doing (these n00bs didn't hack netcode and proxy btw, already checked) then by all means, specify otherwise, because they are just exploiting the modding options WS put into the game.exe.

i went to your site twice.... thought to myself, this looks like a crappy frontpage job if i have ever seen one, then checked and left, went back to get the source for the paste, and that was more to show a lack of detail then a lack of skill. html is idiot language.

ir not holier then thou, if you can do it better, by all means do it, but don't blast down the knowledge that already exists and that you so "claim" to seek, i merely try to do what i can, create trust with myself and the people who use my software, and will simply step aside and let you take over if you wish...

i have no army of goons, i have no army

whatever you do is your own business, as a 22 year old, you should know that by now.

as far as messing with computers since you where 6... playing pong for 3 years on it in between episodes of gi-joe and transformers doesn't count as experience with computers.

dude, seriously, i was trying to save you from a flame fest, by simply pointing out what you have given us as who you are, it isn't my job to tame you, you are who you represent, and first impressions are everything, and yours basically sucked.

Where did I get the idea that you had only been programming for about a year... oh I don't know... maybe this statement from you?

Quote:

When I initially posted the request for programmers and designed that webpage's content --- it was WELL before you had announced RenGuard ... and WELL before anyone was discussing these cheats. I didn't know what language everything was written in because I was a gamer, not a programmer. Now I've switched gears.

Renegade was released about a year ago, so if you had no or limited knowledge of programming at the time renegade was released... well I think people know where I am going with this.

Viva la Resistance!
Who's the bigger man now? Re-read my post.

I clearly stated in here that this game is not worth arguing over. It is just a game. I felt I was very mature and well mannered in this post. The fact that people continue to flame shows a lot of character. Let it go and focus on the release of RenGuard. Not me. I have nothing to do with the anticheats anymore.

Renegade was fun while it lasted, but I've accepted its demise.

Again, good luck to you all.
