I think it was in 2008 that I was given the function of global moderator on these forums. Looking back, it has been quite a blast. I like to believe I managed to make a small difference for Renforums during this time, at least I do hope so. Was it worth it? Meh, better not ask the question Razz

. I like to believe everything's worth doing if you do it with your heart. And I tried to take care of renforums with my heart.

I'm visiting the forums less and less, from 10s of times per day before, down to a couple of times per week now. I completely stopped playing Renegade, the interest is gone as the friends I used to play with moved on (and so did I).

I'm rather a perfectionist: if I do something, I want to do it fully and I don't have the impression that I'm capable of doing this "job" fully any longer. Therefor I decided to give my function back to Crimson.

I'll stick around here, of course, so this does not really change much. Well, except that someone else will do the "dirty job" now, I guess. Smile

That makes sense, perfection in this community is rather hard to achieve when half the posts are spam/troll messages in the first place, and while some have some meaning they are still spam/troll messages. And removing/fixing those messages makes others mad, so I suppose it's rather hard to come out on top?

Thanks Gozy...you did a great job and always tried to turn ideas into a reality to make others productive. The once awesomely active Mod Release section would not have been possible without you making it a reality...it was fun times in 2008-2010ish with a lot of mods/textures submitted by countless people.

This is a gaming forums and so the mood is always light and unruly at times but you did a great job still. Please don't completely disappear like icedog90 and YSLMuffins...that would be very terrible to say the least...do stop by when you have the time. Big Grin
