I was kinda wondering about the whole ordeal when it comes to creating an account for Renegade. As it is right now you have to go through the XWIS control panel. This leads to a problem; if someone, lets say, goes and buys the game at a discount outlet (just for the hell of it) and goes home and installs it but then can't create an account, said person would probably toss it thinking its a dead game.
So I'm wondering is there a possibility that the TT people are working on any sort of solution with XWIS to fix this?
I see that XWIS has seemingly been fixing a bunch of stuff that was killed off. Just wondering if this may be on the "To Do List"?

It's not TT that is the problem. It's the error messages that XWIS returns that make it unclear to new users what to do (if they didn't read the sticky here)
People that where new had issues with the previous system aswell though (if they didn't read the sticky here), unless they happened to enter a username that wasn't taken, so it doesn't really make much of a difference from the new players' perspective.
The new system atleast gives you a nice list of nicks you have and an easy way to delete them so imo the control panel is a good change.
The ingame WOL error messages need some work though 
What TT probably could do, is set the New Account button to point to the control panel.
