Hello, I recently installed the new scripts, and now whenever I try to play Renegade I get an error:
"The procedure entry point
?CheckMemoryManagerConfiguration@@YAXH@Z" target="_blank">>@Z could not be
located in the dynamic link library MemoryManager.dll."
Needless to say, this is very upsetting. Renegade is the only video game I play, and I love it. I don't know much about computers, so that error text may as well be Greek. All I know is that I do have the MemoryManager.dll file. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Renegade, but no dice. I have attached a screen shot of my troubles. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Thanks, but I don't have IRC or any instant messaging service. I could download one if I really needed to. For the time being, I have re-uninstalled renegade and re-re-installed it. I downloaded 1.037 and scripts 3.4.4. The game runs fine now, but I have to have my data CD in. I tried to find the no-CD crack, but all I can find via Google is that it should have been included in 1.037, OR cracks that force me to download renguard... and I would rather just keep using my data CD than get renguard. Any suggestions?

OK- sorry it took me a long time to respond. I tried the no CD crack cmatt42 suggested, but it didn't work. I believe I did it correctly, it just didn't work, so I reinstalled Renegade and played it using RR and the Data CD. A few minutes ago, I downloaded and installed the first link on this http://www.tiberiantechnologies.org/downloads page. It does not work. After I click he R that says Tiberian Technologies in the upper left, it insists I must have the CD and gives me two options: insert Data disk or cancel. I then tried to connect with RR, and it gave me an error message which I have attached here.
I installed MIRC, but I have only used IRC once before, a long time ago. I enter my nickname and alternate, but then I don't know what to do.

If I click cancel it takes me to the renegade game screen with the options single player, multiplay Internet, multiplay LAN, multiplayer practice, options, and quit. I tried clicking on multiplay Internet, but it then has me choose in between Westwood and Gamespy. RR is better than either of those.
Which IRC client do you use?/which is easiest?

In that case, everything seems to be working as expected. Combining RR and TT is not supported. Yet, the RR launcher -may- work if you uncheck the "with Resurrection" checkbox. As far as I know, the RR launcher is just an alternative gamespy browser. There are similar ones that work with TT and which have been named in similar topics (RenList was one, if I recall correctly).
I use XChat-WDK; I don't know if it's particularly easier though.
