You might be thinking of "zeeky boogy doog" which is from some stick man flash animation or something. Too lazy to look.

I watched the vid... I haven't seen the Demented Cartoon Movie in awhile but I don't think it's from that.

Speaking of which, Demented Cartoon Movie's storyline, heh Listen

I liked it before it turned into all JUST AS PLANNED from Aizen at every fucking moment (AKA, pretty much everything past the second season). I mean, it's entertaining, but any semblance of a plot got pushed to the back in favor of DBZ-with-swords battles.

you bumped a terrible thread, but kudos for giving system shock a shoutout.

people unironically mentioning video games and dragonball shit is pretty funny. even movies have a hard time competing with books and tv shows in terms of scope, you bad bad thread.

Do you have any specific AC title in mind? I thought AC 4 and 5 had the best storylines in that order. AC 4 nearly made me cry lol.

No particular order

Star Wars (particularly episodes 3-6)
Command & Conquer (pre-EA)
Firefly/Serenity (though short lived)
Deus Ex (1)
Starcraft 1 & 2

Just about anything with depth. I am most interested in stories that are "believable"/alternate realities (but not necessarily "realistic") and can somehow be tied to the real world. I think the above 5 fall into that category, with the exception of Star Wars. C&C and Deus Ex are alternate realities; Starcraft and Firefly are possible future realities.

My first grade teacher read The Hobbit to us in short bits everyday, I tried to go back and read it a few times, but honestly I hate reading. Used to only like reading select Goosebumps books...

I don't think I have ever heard anyone complain about the movies butchering the story, are there any huge differences?

Off the top of my head:

Panzer Dragoon Series (specifically Panzer Dragoon Saga)
BSG (Reimagined)
Batman Begins/Dark Knight
Modern Warfare Series (yes, i know!)
V: The original 1980s Mini-Series not the recent ABC effort

Although there are so many more you can mention...5 just isnt enough!!

haha what, why did you bump this thread? oh well

@The Thing: I'm slightly afraid the prequel, because revisiting an old movie (remake OR prequel) has been proven to be pretty fucking awful a lot of the time. And I loved the Thing. Anyway, it's not even out yet, so, what?

@C&C: C&C is a fun series, and has always had amazing potential, but as far as an actual story, it was unfortunately never expanded on enough to make it good. A shame, because I've always felt it could be expanded on a lot.
