Download the Editor zipfile and extract it anywhere you want.
Then open the registry editor and locate the key:

Software->Westwood->Renegade
Change "InstallPath" to where you have your TCW Demo Game.exe installed.

If you do not have this Key, then download the zip below and merge it into the registry.
Then locate the key and change the InstallPath value to where your game.exe from TCW Demo is located.
