ok so first of all i was running ren on 3.4.4. with both core patches and had a lot of skins along with a custom hud. i install 4.0 and it goes smoothly until i actually launch the game. it loads to a black screen and constantly makes this "ding" sound and ctrl alt del only works for a couple seconds until the black loading screen takes over. im a little confused as to what was happening as there weren't any error messages or alerts or anything. i have vista sp 1 x64 if that makes any difference.
anyways i'm just gonna uninstall ren and i'll apply 4.0 on the clean install. i'll repost after i'm done

thanks iran! and holy cow do i have a lot of them! 110 to be exact... though they're all in .dmp so how do i open them?
edit: i opened dllload.txt and got the message
[tt.dll] Failed to load, error 998. Invalid access to memory location.
[scripts.dll] Failed to load, error 998. Invalid access to memory location.
repeating about seven times..... if that helps
