As we all know that there are a lot of foreigners in u.s. how come
come most of american seem to ignore them.
there is a Chinese exchange student in my class, but no one i repeat no one seems to care or want to talk to him

i was once an exchange student in Iceland. When i went to a classroom, everyone started greeting me and asked me about my country.

how come american are so racist?

So, because American lives revolve around working quite a bit of their life, and they tend to ignore random people that they don't even know (labeling them as just a race is stereotypical), that makes them... racist?

Playing off of the idea that you have at least some shred of intellect, there are two things I want to point out about what you said.

1. America is more than just the kids in your class. What they say and do is in no way reflective of what everyone else in the country says and does.

2. I would like you to reflect on your example you posed about the kids in your class not paying attention to the foreign exchange student. How are you so sure that people aren't paying attention to him BECAUSE he is foreign? Do you socialize with him? Who are you to draw this conclusion?

Unless you know for a 100% fact that the other people in your class don't pay him mind because he isn't a local student, there seems to be no way for you to come to that conclusion. Read: You're the one jumping to the conclusion therefore you're the one being racist.

I didn't actually read this thread, because Dicktree's threads kill brain cells very rapidly...

In short, America is so fucking scared of being racist it is actually getting more and more unfair in favor of idiots because they are a "minority"...

Fuck that.

My fiance worked hard through school to get good grades and be able to go to college. She ended up with a full ride, and some extra money for expenses... but she had to keep a high GPA.

Her Hispanic friend from high school didn't work nearly half as hard, but got a full ride to the same college, way more money for expenses, and didn't even need to keep a good GPA.

What is that shit all about?

For some reason, people think that indulging people because of their race is somehow different than discriminating people because of their race.

Sure, one way doesn't involve taking someone down... but it still is a form of racial alienation..

This is exactly how I see it. The people coming to America illegally are actually getting benefits of health-care and such... It's ridiculous. I believe that if someone cames to America legally and fairly, and tries to establish themself in the working class, then they can get the benefits of an average American. But, for someone to hop a fucking border and get benefit is bs.
