the website is still under construction..
WebSite

What is Heroes Of Alert ?
This is a gaming community with internet services for Red Alert 2 (you can play here Red Alert 2 with friends). We will organize different tournaments and other. We want RA2 to be like on its good days.

Why is called Heroes Of Alert ?
Because this community is created by old c&c fans who plays c&c games from long time and we are like some 'Heroes' who tries to help a very good RTS game created by a best RTS developer (Westwood Studios)

Players will need Red Alert 2 installed or how they can get it and play on your server ?
To play on our server is easy, just download this and install it (is small because will auto-download from internet the full game from XCC). After install your ready to play, open RA2 from install dir and ingame press 'Internet', after that login as your already registered (password needs to be exact 8 chars, example: 12345678). Now your done, you can play with your friends and anyone.

How many players are you expecting to have?
We aren't sure yet, we hope many players to join us.

What message you have for peoples ?
I want all old c&c fans and new c&c players/fans to join us and play on our server. Please tell your friends to join too and please do not cheat (we hate cheats).

Thanks Westwood!
Thanks Renegade Forums!
Thanks to C&C fans!
Thanks to everyone else who helped!

have fun!

edit: if won't work to connect use this patch after install

No doesn't look like it. He's spreading a RA2 installer and RA2 is not freeware.

is legal because XCC released RA2 for free, we are only hosting a free internet service for RA2, not selling this game or providing pirate copy of it.

when you start downloading appear "xwis.net", thats where its downloading Red Alert 2.

here where ra2 is on xcc

If it is this one
http://xwis.net/downloads/Red_Alert-2-0.0.0.exe
then it's OK as you still need a valid serial.
I don't get why you'd need to make a downloader for it though.

How does downloading a downloader to download an installer makes things easier... :V

From what I've seen from people with problems;
9/10 haven't even read or followed the stickys correctly.
1/10 tries to play without actually having the game.

i will think on it to make the installer, isn't hard i think..

but won't download anything, will require legit Ren CD

edit: this installer for ra2 will download ra2 and install it, but will make it to run on our server.

I've been "flaming" these forums since you were 5. Great job using the search function to figure it out. I even have a hall of fame thread and a pretty big cliche regarding "GLACIER FLAYING" to go with it.

I ran Red Alert: APB until 2006 and built it into the only successful mod project this game has ever seen. I've developed at least 50 levels for this game and the engine it runs on, and whenever you run Glacier_Flying, you're running my work. I helped shape the direction of this game in the beta tests from 2001.

What have you done? A few piddly tools that nobody uses, since they're clones of tools that already exist? Some bullshit about bringing RA2 back from the dead with an illegal executable that EA could easily bring down the hammer on you for?

But you're right, I'm nothing. Haven't done anything before. This is my first post, and you're still an illiterate moron.

I don't understand... can't you already play RA2 online using XWIS' facilities? Is this supposed to be some kind of clone?

Something I don't understand: you don't even have a proper website yet and yet you're advertising already. WHY?

Finishing a basic functional website should only take like what 5 full days if you start from scratch?
