I lol'd.

Said this at 3 different forums. Bin Laden has been dead for a few years now. Imo, this is just a way for Obama to get his approval ratings up. Somethin along the lines of:

"President Obama gave the approval to attack Bin Laden..."

... or something like that was said on like every news station lol..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFbafTpQGEk&feature=player_embedded

There's a video, I think it was posted in 2007. I think the person in that video was killed not 2 weeks later after that interview, as well.

In short, Bin Laden has been dead.

While that may be true, it is likely to presume that he was killed or found dead in Obama's period in the white house. Because of the very very simple reason that IF he was killed/captured/found during the Bush administration, Bush would've been the first to let us know. I mean, that would've helped the republicans a lot during the elections and helped tremendously with justifying the 2 wars the USA is in today...

You make a good point. But, there are facts (by truthers and conspiracy-theorists, so actually "believing" these could prove false anyway) that says that Bin Laden has been dead for years now, even worked for the CIA, or had some "affiliation" with it. There are some facts/theories/subjects that say that Bin Laden even worked with the Bush family. Though, getting into a political debate about how corrupt our government is isn't exactly good on renforums xD

In my opinion, people give the government too much credit.

To say that Osama Bin Laden had ever been working with the US... the implications would be massive... and what possible advantage would the US gain by this?

Saying something like Osama has been dead for years sounds more reasonable. However, it would be a huge risk for Obama to blatantly lie about Bin Laden being killed, imagine what would happen if people found out. He's become President of "the most powerful country in the world" so I'd (hope) he'd be a little smarter than that.

Like I said, I could spill out numerous facts/theories about many things that go on in our(US) government. But, there is quite a bit to gain (power, money, etc) from "working" with him. But, there are more "powerful" things in this world than the American government. Listen

The Archbishop of Canterbury has spoken out saying he was uncomfortable with how Osama had been killed while un-armed, and that the differing versions of details emerging surrounding his death did little to help ease his concerns.

Well the gain of the USA was that the sovjets lost in Afghanistan. Seems reasonable enough for me.

Yeah its pretty much common knowledge that the US used Osama to further their own agenda when it suited them.

I think you(Burn) are the only person who must not know this.

Religion started this whole thing, I hope he shuts his big mouth and keeps out of it.

I would call this actually a quite humane thing to say. We as the free world advocate freedom and civil rights. Who are we if we cannot live by those rules laid down by ourself and our believes?

It's a pity the USA soldiers played judge jury and executioner, even more so if he was indeed unarmed. I would have wanted Osama to see court, so the hatebeards would see how we even treat our most hated enemies.
Pretty darn civilized, even though we do kill them (as painless as possible even) in the end.

With this action the USA is not better than a lot of murderers and arguably not much better than terrorists either.

To be clear, I don't like religion, at least not in it's current and past form, but in this case it's not as much about religion as it is about common sense and humanity.

So is george GW bush. More innocent civilians were killed in afghanistan and iraq, than at the WTC attacks.

You would rather the brave soldiers put themselves in further danger by trying to take him alive, while he scrambled for his guns?
It's a war. Soldiers fought. The bad guy got shot and died.
It wasn't a police raid on a house party, these fuckers where firing RPG's and shit!

I'm not fat, nor dumb. Sad

Though, I wasn't out celebrating the death of a human being. Those people aren't even educated, more then likey. They are just fed what the news and media give to them, and take that as the truth. Hence, their celebrating in the streets.. Thumbs Up

Go f*** yourself.

We are celebrating the death of a mentally insane mass-murderer who justifies killing innocent people, not just americans, under the category of religion.

I had family almost killed in 9/11, 1 got out of the trade center just in time, and the other 2 got out of the buildings near the pentagon as soon as they got wind of the first attacks.

P.S. Osama was the Hitler of the 21st century.

Sick of hearing all the "he died un-armed". Do you think everyone in the twin-towers were armed? All those people wanted nothing to do with Osama, or any of those eastern terrorists. They were simply going to work and an extremely evil person orchestrated their death. This is an act of war, and not something that is justified in the courtroom. If we kept him alive and brought him over here for a court hearing, it would not fuel Al Queda any more or less. They would probably kill someone every day he isn't released.

Those people are sick, and want all you on this forum dead. I'm surprised any of you would expect these people a fair-trial when they would shoot you in the head the first chance they got.

There, that's about right.

I do have to agree, though. Mass celebrating of a person's death is just ridiculous. That, basically, makes us just like them...I'm a firm believer that the 9/11 attack's weren't just terrorist attacks, there was "ALOT" more to them other than Osama bombing the buildings. Too much evidence for it to just be that.

I'm not saying that I don't have sorrow for all of the people that died that day, because I do. I actually know people whose families were affected by 9/11. That's why it pains me to even think that our government had anything to do with the attacks.

But, this is another instance to be discussed on another topic.
