I'm gonna go with Atomix, since It's been forever since I was in a St0rm server.
N00bstories is fun because of the population but sometimes I just don't like crowded games.

Black-cell, hands down the most original, innovative and ahead of it's time renegade server. All other servers are either imitations of it or derived/inherited work from it.

Agreed. I didn't play much on it, but it was fun as hell when I did.
Also, EKT RPG deserves special mention- was a nice RP2 server when Sniperhid ran it. Fun times.

At the risk of sounding egocentric: KOSs2 server. Mostly due to the group of close friends that played there together and the pure config.

Black-Cell and Jelly for AOW games. The features in Black-Cell were completely awesome and unique.

Whenever I saw that list he made I was like wtf... You don't even have LTROUSH CTF up there? That list automatically FAILS.
Hands down LTROUSH. Black-cell/Xphaze for aow. For sniping, it was Fnfall/gz0ne, then mt0wn whenever it came around.
Now, it's either Atomix, st0rm, and 1337. Basically the only servers I play on now.

i dunno why you tried narrowing it down in the original poll
best server ever, in which i've had the most fun, would have to be the various clanwar servers over the years. now, the koss2 and n00bstories (if they cut out the start credits) probably have the most appealing settings to me.

The best server I ever played is Exodus. The reason being that it is a spiritual successor to n00bstories Server 2, where the games were small and very competitive; only this time the lag isn't unbearable.

Black-cell was awesome (I was a commander), The Pitts was great - now they are gone I play on n00bstories, it's a good group of people that meet on TeamSpeak and it's well moderated. Renegade Rocks FOREVER!
