this is important

bows are the best weapons in games, but they're rare and I don't know much rpg stuff which I assume is a more bow heavy genre

post games where u can fuck around with a bow that doesn't auto-target because that's the wrong rpg

+ points for fantasy setting without elves, dwarfs or anime

so far I've played Half Lifes, Dark Messiah, Call of Juarez, Gothic 3, Fable

I sometimes daydream of being a Ranger believe me it's very true

bows in morrowwind suck.

playing with bows in Oblivion is alot more fun. Creping up behind shit and shooting people. If I remember correctly; sometimes they don't know where you shot from if you hide well enough. Which makes it all the more fun.

I'd actually like to give a second recommendation to Mount & Blade: Warband, if only for the mulitplayer and the combat. The RPG elements of the RPG are actually fairly awful.
