Hi Reneforums; just curious to see what everyone did for Christmas.
Any notable events / gifts / stories? Share em with the rest of us.
I'm fortunate enough to own a beach house away from the city where I spent my Christmas with an Uncle and Grandma.
Spent much time on the beach /w plenty of beer, a bonfire and family.

Ended up heading back to Monterey in Cali with my mom and brother. Been going to the beach during the day, chilling with some old friends. Supposed to rain the rest of the time I'm here though, so no more of that :/
Ended up getting about $300, the HTC Surround with Windows 7 mobile, And my OWN cell phone bill! Kind of the trade with my mom, she gets me the phone, I get the bill lol. Other than that, basically it. Heading out with this girl tomorrow, was a close friend with me in high-school.

First day we had dinner with our family, then that night I went out clubbing and the next day I felt miserable. Not many hours later I started throwing up and spent the rest of the days in bed. Today is the first day that I actually feel better...

Liquedv2, yew need to branch out a little on your thinking. I'm sure you'll twig it soon enough, but you're barking up the wrong tree.
The map is budding with new ideas and great game-play, AitcraftKiller just has to get to the root of the problem, it seems to have him pretty stumped right now.
Leaf him alone, he's doing a good job. I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say this map isn't fir you.
Anyway, this thread is really starting to lumber along, all this over some sap's map? I thought the game was dead, but this thread at least is poplar. It makes me pine for the days of yonder.

Just about. Well, the home screen is a lot different than the iphone's. Also, you can select your apps from a list on another page instead of by tabs. You can also pin some of your contacts to your home screen, so all you have to do is tap on them, select call or text and you're done. It comes with Microsoft Office, which I think this one has Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. But, I think all Windows Phones come with that.
All in all, I think it's better than the iPhone. The one thing that the iPhone has over this phone, and all Windows Phones, are the apps. But, the iPhone and Apple have been in the smartphone business for a while now, therefore they are going to have a lot of apps. Microsoft just started, so they don't really have that much apps.

We had some distant family over, it was great to see them again.
We also went to visit a different side of the family for dinner.
As for gifts, my main thing was a new phone, since my old one was getting worn out.
