when i try to get to a the game listenings it says the nick is already being used and not for this serial or whatever. i have 3 renegade game sets and tried them all. renegade was working fine with the final decade. then once i went that account management thing online thats when that box started popping up and wont let me play online anymore with limewire3.

That message pretty much says it all actually. Either your nick is already taken or your password is incorrect.

Did you try to login with this nick in the XWIS Control Panel?
If you can login with that nick in the Control Panel, make sure the password stored/used in Renegade is correct.

when i go to the xwis.net/control_panel all i can do is login to the strike-team.net site. how do i see my nicks and serials? and when i was on there i did hit 'password reset' so is that why is says password invald in the message? when i renstalled renegade yesterday and it said choose a nick to play online with my name 'limewire3' was still there. i entered my old password and everything worked. but then i tried to play online and i get that same error message as before.

alirght i got on my control pannel again but whats up with the serials. when i looked under my serials none of them match to me game. heres the thing i entered 3 serials and there are all there but when i entered them on the site they turned into different numbers. im pretty sure those serials are mine but how come the numbers changed? like after i typed in the whole serial and hit 'add serial' the number that was added wasnt even on the case. i see a reset password on there so what do i do with it and how do i use it? do i renistall renegade and type in that password?

Serials added to the control panel will show up under a different number. I don't know what that number is maybe the serial ID or something.

If you can login to the control panel and your nick is in the nickname list, just use the password you used to enter the control panel to login to renegade.
If you have set auto-login and don't prompt me again, you'll have to turn that off.
If you go to internet play -> WOL there will be a bar on the left. Hover over it and a menu slides out. Click My Information and un-check Auto-Login with this account.
You'll also want to remove the stored password if you checked remember my information.
Goto Start->Run. Type 'regedit' and press enter.
Navigate to:
HKLM->SOFTWARE->Westwood->Renegade->WOL->Logins
and delete the folder that has your nickname.

Now you should be able to re-enter your username and password in Renegade.

64-bit?
If so, I can't help you with the 64-bit path..
I still need to take the time to upgrade one of these days/weeks/months :V
