STOP THOSE CHEATERS !

Ok i got a hold of this Final Renegade thingy and ive had alittle play about with it and found out how to stop cheaters who are using this cheat while your in game purchase a mammoth tank (if the coast is clear from cheater) get in it and start firing the seconday weapon.. this causes the cheaters FPS to go down to 0 and eventually they will loose connection you can also make the cheaters lag buy being a rocket guy or gunner and agian keep firing. This is simply because the cheat has fast fire in it and i think they went abit OTT with the mammoth buy giving it too many rockets the game cant cope. Hope this helps.......

For those of you that dont yet know what final renegade is:

The benefits of this Cheat are as follows:
1. Several characters have will have unlimited ammo.
2. These characters can kill anything (aside from buildings) with only a few shots.
3. Combined with the big head mod, you become invincible on Renegade.
4. Bonus 29 BIG HEADS never before Released Included.
5. Several characters will have Full automatic weapons, "Machine gun type".
6. Hotwires Repair Buildings and Vechs in 1 Second and can dissarm becons in 1 second.
7. When you are the host of the game, buildings can be killed with merely two shots,
but this is only the case when YOU ARE THE HOST.

you dont need have final renegade to do that all u need to do is get in a mammy and shoot. not htat hard...works for grenaders too.

yeah i know thats what i mean... if you playing in a renegade server and u know theres a cheat present buy a mammy and shoot as much of the secondary weapon as possible when you do this it leaves these white glowing balls behind these are what make it lag only for the cheaters and only the cheaters can see this ball the closer they get to these balls the lower the FPS goes.

Wouldnt something like this cause the zero bug?

Yup it does and the Final Renegade cheat is so poor quality it suffers from the 0 bug a hell of a lot.

I played 3 games with the cheate (all hosted by myself with players who knew I was using the cheat) and it sucks for the 0 bug because I had the 0 bug 2 of 3 games.

It's the big head mods I am scared of not final renegade because most noobs will give up on final renegade because of the 0 bug.

The big heads mod is also just modified models, and the only seperate applications are aimbots with 0% accuracy so I think RenGuard should do good against them Smile

No, we're not stopping all mods, just the ones that allow a player to cheat. We already have hundreds of approved models and skins that [HLOW]Tomten has compiled, and of course plenty of blacklisted mods. It might be rocky at first getting mods approved but you have only the cheaters to blame.

wouldnt work seems like the only way round this is to scrap the whole thing using skins in renegade Crying or Very Sad

We would only have to dis allow certain skins, like changing what the sniper thing looks like when zoomed in. We wouldn't have to not allow all skins, because they are not what the big heads are, they are more than just skins.

If your on gdi or nod and some guy has the big head cheat, Be a havoc or sukera and change the skin. I tested it with the big head cheat. The head shrinks when you switch it.

Personally, I don't think that clear scope view is that bad... considering that it merely takes out small blind spots and get rid of the green crap... Meh, I wouldn't care either way. But the skins that make all players have those bright colors and target on them and stuff... that's just dumb because it doesn't improve the accuracy of the sniper, considering that the players don't have a whole lot of camoflauge to begin with... So I guess skins could be a choice that can go either way, but many will contest because it adds variation to the game as long as it's not overboard.

about the big head thing hummm... theres more than 1 big head cheat and others that are similar i have one that draws a box above certain charectors i also have one that makes heads 10 times bigger some skins dont work for diffrent bighead cheats its not really avoidably as far as i can see Sad

There will be blacklisted skins/addons, and approved skins/addons. Anything that falls into the unknown category will have to be approved. You don't have to make your skins publically available to get on the good list.

wouldnt it be easier just to have a blacklist of known cheat skins/mods instead of having everything 'authorized'. this type of blacklist would not only be smaller and faster (if im correct in guessing on how this program checks for said cheats/mods) but then every person who makes their own skins wouldnt have to submit their skins for approval. and if another cheat/mod was made either someone in the community would find it and submit it. or very very few people would have it, which has been the case for most of these for a long time.

That wouldn't work, because then anyone with a little knowledge could easily modify a couple pixels of an existing cheat and it won't have the same checksum.
