I was just wondering if it is possible to turn on the "Terrain casts smooth surfaces" (or something similar) option on. I cant seem to find it in the Renegade configuration utility.

That option is only supported on Radeon cards.

And for the matter, when I turned it on I did not notice a difference.

Truform is broken in Radeon 9500/9600/9700/9800 cards. Pretty much only works on R200 based cards, 8500/900/9100/9200
