Basically the thread says, Saturday Oct. 23rd, 3 PM EST (Whiskey time)
We'd like to have a big Lobby war, or maybe even a Comm war. My goal is to get Cw.cc active - if not the league, then at least the community + lobby war side of things.
If RenForums would like to compete against us, just let us know. If not, I'm just looking for players to be involved in our big lobby war. All are welcome. We'll be using teamspeak, so come on out, meet some players, and maybe even learn a thing or 2. Doesn't matter the skill level, or what community you're from. As long as you can talk on teamspeak and play Renegade, you're good.
Oct 23rd - lets do this.

Sweet.
Just to let everyone know, this is going to be a big Lobby War. We'll use this to see how many cw.cc players are still around, and if everything goes well, then we can start organizing comm wars in the future.
Everyone is welcome to play, as long as you have teamspeak. Mic isn't required, but definitely recommended.

Awesome Hypnos, thanks.
Although this Lobby war is open to everyone from all communities, the plan is try and get enough players interested in playing for my team (cw.cc) in future community wars. I dont want to steal players from other communities, I just want to let old cw.cc players and even players who haven't competed at cw.cc know that I am willing to lead a new team of players into community wars. I'll represent cw.cc, but the team might have players who haven't even competed their before.

Thanks everyone who came out, the games went great. Everyone arrived on time, and organizing the teams was very quick.
We started off 10vs10 and got at least 3 or 4 games in, then we continued with 8vs8 and 7vs7 and made it through the entire rotation of 7 or 8 maps.
I was a captain, and Nukem was the other. My team started off strong and took the first 3 or 4, then Nukem's team made a big comeback and won 3 or 4 of their own.
I'd say it was a success and I'll be planning more in the future.
Also thanks a lot to Goztow for the help on setting up the server, and providing it for us.
