There's a guy that's been playing on the N00bStories.com server that's using BigHead cheat. I just played 2 games with him 1v1 and I'm beyond a doubt certain he's cheating. How do I know? Every time he shoots me its a head shot! I played earlier today too (bigger game, 10v10) and someone was accusing him of cheating then (think it was Pwn3r). This guy really needs to be banned. His name is gr3hakma0.
Thanks
Hope I posted in the proper place.

He speaks truths.
A lot of the big servers don't allow those kinds of cheats to work anymore.
As for an aimbot... I dunno. I've never heard of a working one before. I know of trigger bots, but those can't really help in this sort of situation... since they just auto-fire.

And even if there was a working one, it's impossible to correct the aiming by leading the bullets of the sniper. You would miss ever single shot unless the target was standing still.
|
Extracting the velocity information isn't hard. Once you have that, it's a tiny bit of vector math to adjust your target direction to account for possible movement. A cool modification to that would be feeding velocity information to a per-player self-training neural network so that it "learns" how specific players move in reaction to the aimbot firing. Good thing I despise players using cheats in multiplayer games.

... and you dont have to, since nothing is undetectable.
that said, i'm pretty well aware of that, but the 2nd version of the tool we're talking about doesn't even try to hide itself. in fact testing _one single byte_ in the game.exe process memory should be enough to detect it.
or are you talking about serverside detection?
but one way or another... why don't you just do it then?
all i always see are words... no actions. kinda a habit around here?!
it's funny anyways how some ppl always try to hurt me or my "honor" by saying "it can be detected", "it sucks" or w/e. even it that WAS true, i really wouldn't give a shit.

Why did you release it in the first place? I understand why you made it, and I myself (as I'm sure does any coder on these boards) see the attraction in solving such a difficult problem, but I fail to understand why you'd release it, without at least crippling its capacity as a functioning cheat in some way...

If he doesn't release it then his ego can't get off to morons like troop feeding it.
It isn't about solving "problems" (your words not mine) as it is getting attention for it.

You don't even play this game (and for good reason, you're awful). The fact you've admitted you don't care about this game says enough and I have no clue why you bother posting here. I was merely trying to bring down his ego (because he HAS to other reason to release it apart from infamy) and explain something to someone who IS playing this game, after a long absence.
Try posting something useful (or atleast a legit rebuttal) or don't post at all.
