You're a fine moderator, and I like Craig just fine. I'd just like him a lot more if he sang ABBA songs on the side like Brosnan does.

I loved all James Bond movies before the 2 Daniel Craig ones, just because of all the impossible gadgetry you see in them. However the best in my opinion is Sean Sean Connery, Rodger Moor and Pierce Brosnan.

TBH, the only reason why I think the current bond doesn't have the gadgets of the older bonds is because he really hasn't been given a 'mission' as of yet.
You have to remember that the new bond is a reboot of the old bonds making a more coherent story. Perhaps there was no Q because there wasn't a real mission ever given to him. Everything Bond did in Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace was personal for Bond. He wasn't acting under the authority of MI6. The only official MI6 business he had undertook was entering the poker game, and if you remember they did give him a few gadgets in his car.
Basically, I wouldn't rule Q out just yet. He just hasn't made an appearance in the new movies. Once Bond is given a proper mission and briefing, it's most likely that he will be given some gadgets.
