Ok, image that you formatted your pc. It has nothing installed except for the most basic windows features. You don't have any redistributables installed at all. What would you need to run Renegade?

Direct-X 9?
Visual C++ 2005?

Also, are you trying to just copy renegade over? Because then you'd need to import required registry keys.

I think you should be fine if you use the scripts 3.4.4 installer, but if you don't want to I guess you'll need the VS2005 redist and the dxwebsetup.exe for directx9.
