The thing is though, anime receives this generalization stereotype outside of Japan that it doesn't really deserve.
Anime that is licensed and aired outside of Japan usually fits that stereotype and that's what fuels the rage.
The fact is, unless you just dislike animation entirely or dislike sitting through stories (in which case you would also be the type of person who skips over single player modes in videogames), then there is an anime out there that you will like. If you like to watch TV, then there is an anime that is on the same exact subject of the TV show you like (unless it's like a reality/game/contest show like American Idol or Who Wants to be a Millionaire.)
If you like serious shows, then there are serious anime. If you like science fiction, then there is something for you. Comedies, romances, crime dramas, ect, ect.... there is something that you will like if you just give it a shot.

No, that isn't true.
From what I've seen, most girls are small to flat chested. However, I do admit that unless it's a running gag, boinging breasts are pretty annoying. It is a bit of an overused character design with excessively large breasts... but for the most part, most female characters are normal to below average sizes.
It really isn't a big deal in Cowboy Bebop because that's just Fye's character... and to be honest, they are pretty much average size. In GitS though, it is annoying.
There is a good martial arts show called Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple. It's a good action/comedy and one of the running gags is that the main female character has huge boobs and other characters make fun of her. Even though it's an annoying character design, the comedy aspect sort of balances out.

Another thing that urks me are excessive pantie shots or 'pantsu'.

LOL was the guy who narrated that Chris Sabbot? It sounds like him.
He is a FUNimation VA. In DBZ, he played Piccolo and Vegeta as well as a lot of other people.
And no, it does not 'spoof the entire anime genre.'
First of all anime isn't a genre. There are different genres of anime. You cannot see one and justify the rest as the same thing. It would be like calling book reading a genre.
It was a spoof of overused echii/hentai clichés.

No she isn't generic... because she actually fits the profile. She is supposed to have the build of I think a 12 year old girl. (She isn't 12, but her appearance doesn't change with age. They never really say her age.. so I'm just going off of assumption)
Why I mean by 'not generic' is that the doesn't have ginormous boobs.
I was trying to find a better full body shot before, but they are all versions with flaming hair.
...speaking of which, red hair isn't a weird color... it's a natural color.
