i just started playing renegade again about 3 weeks ago (it had probably been about 2-3 years since i had played before that) and i noticed that a lot of servers that i used to play are completely gone. the reason i am posting this is because i play CS:S a lot and for some reason, my router filters out many servers (i will only get about 30-40 cs_office servers but when i play at my friends house, he gets well over 100 servers). i wasnt sure if this was also the case for renegade.

the only servers that i get that ever have ppl playing in them are jelly and n00bstories. i love those servers, but ive been looking for a sniping server so i can specifically work on my sniping skills and was wondering if anyone knew of any good ones whether it be through gamespy or westwood.

1337 and tmx are the only 2 currently active sniper servers.

1337 has retarded admins and mods, and tmx warps like a bitch. You'll likely be banned from 1337 if you try and play, so you're best bet is to go with the warp server (tmx).

Uncheck the box that says "Servers in my country only". This will bring up all the servers from all of the countries:
index.php?t=getfile&id=12857&private=0

Now, there should be a server called "AlliedGaming.com-Sniper" or something like that. That server is strictly sniping and nothing else:
index.php?t=getfile&id=12858&private=0
