Many of you are complaing you use cheats in self defense, I think not. Fact is, you are doubling the amount of cheater. EASY! If you use a cheat you will be banned from the servers so don't even think about it.

If someone is cheating tell the mod, admins, or do a poll to remove them if no one is around.

Never say tyou use a cheat to stop the cheaters that won't work.

Another thing to add, but it's just a personal thing. Those caught "testing" cheats should also be banned. There is no reason to test them, or even have them for any reason.

That can be split both ways. Testing doesnt take a whole game and 15 kills to prove... If you do test I also think it should be in YOUR OWN game under like TESTING BIGHEAD or soemthing. SO epople are aware of it ahead of time.

However, i really see no point in testing. If it says it does it im sure it does.

To see if they are what they say they are? To see how dangerous they are?

Think.

I'm with Matt on this one. I can see how testing it would have a legitimate purpose for server owners who need to know the telltale signs, but I would take care not to test it in a way that involves unsuspecting players/victims. That being said, I haven't been testing it--just arguing for arguing's sake.

on top of that.. things like the beacon cheat.. it disarms at twice the speed and has a huge raduis you can disarm in.. i would not have known that if i didint try the cheat think.

now i can look at for people disarming mid air.. outside a building ot sumthing... i wil know if they are cheating

Yes, but testing it for an entire game is wrong, testing it in a large game is wrong. Test it in multiplayer practice. Or at least call your hosted game bighead cheat so people know you're not going to be playing fair.

You only have to shoot one person to know it works. Then leave the game, remove it, and come back normal. It's not fair to the people who are playing legit for you to be doing that shit.

I'm the bawss.

I tested some of the cheats, I only planned on staying in the game for5 min, but after about 30 seconds, more than 5 people had already been kicked, so I left the game and deleted the cheats.

Some people are becoming to cheat sketical. I was on crimson server and I was first with about 200 more points than the second guy. I was called a cheater for having 1800 in 15 minutes... That is just a bit harsh and n00bish Very Happy

I wouldn't recommend testing them just to test them...we all know what they are and I've been abusing my work accounts to send files to Symantec and you'll be amazed at the percentage that come back with malicious code reports...cheaters get what they deserve eventually...

Good! These 10 year olds deserve to get their comps messed up if they have nothing better to do than ruin a perfectly good game. I'm afraid that if this renguard program doesn't come out soon, Renegade will potentially take a nose dive into the video game graveyard. It sucks to see numerous cheats come out within a short time frame like this. Who are these retards? Did they just pick the game off the shelf or did they decide that they want to ruin it for everyone else? I just don't understand why people have to be such mindless retards. As well the last few days of playing Renegade have been especially bad for me. I can barely find any server that doesn't have cheaters on at any given time. If not that then the servers are always full.

I only play on servers I am mod on now adays or I can ask a host to give me a tempmod... I played on crimsons server today, I used to be moderator but it was removed, and I banned I think 2 or 3 people for Bigheads and numerous others for other crap. Me and GenKozar seemed to be on a kicking spree to keep the game clear and fair, but that is what must happen now adays.
