I dunno how many of you play other C&C games (half of you don't even play Renegade I'm sure), but recently a community made patch was finally released for Yuri's Revenge. It's basically YR's 4.0 (minus some of the direct gameplay balance changes).
To make it short, it's fantastic for mods- but moreover, it's a whole lot more stable than previous patches (RockPatch, Npatch), which means playing mods for YR will crash a LOT less (I've personally tested this, and had very long games with a lot of stuff going on in general- almost every other time it would crash, but with Ares, it doesn't at all).
Keep in mind it's not a direct patch like the TT patch is- it's more or less for mods (and comes with its own .bat to start the game, so you can very easily run with it or without it), but I highly encourage anyone who's ever been interested in YR modding (even small little .ini changes) to check it out and try to join their community. They're a little lacking on user response, which is really disappointing considering how much effort is put into it (and it's still going pretty strong). So yeah, hop on over to the site, and check out what it has to offer (a full feature list is included in the download's documentation- and I mean full, with explanations and everything)
