Hey!
I used to play Renegade very actively years ago. I think it was in either 2005 or 2006 when I first started. For roughly the last year, I haven't played much, if at all. I never announced it or "left", but it just happened, and I stopped coming here. As I went through installed Windows 7 Betas, RCs, and eventually, the final, I somewhere along the line didn't even install Renegade anymore.
Last night, I installed it, patched it, added the scripts, added RenGuard, and copied my old skins over, and jumped online. It was either n00bstories or Jelly I joined (pretty sure it was n00bstories), and played about two games. It was alot of fun. It didn't have the magic to drag me back in full time, sadly, but after that, I can say I'll still be playing occasionally and not let it sit and/or uninstall it.
Most may not know or remember me. My in game nick is "H3llian07". I am not a "pro" player, but I am a good one, and at times, a very good one. I "originated" mostly at/from Black-Cell, and when it went inactive and died, I mostly went to Jelly Server before my inactivity set in. I was never in the "in" or "popular" circle in either community (especially the latter since it was bigger and I was there less), but rather sat quietly in the back. When Black-Cell had their clan war against Jelly, I joined in favor of Black-Cell, and didn't use TS or often personally speak with the main Black-Cell group, not during the clan war, nor eve previously, but I always looked at the Black-Cell crew as my family, and I showed it by fighting for them and being one of the top performers for them in that second clan war (albeit we lost), even though I played more at Jelly at the time. I miss Black-Cell (any of you still here and remember this quiet resident of your old server?), and I also miss the magic Renegade used to have, but even in it's current state, it's something no other game is/has, so I'll relish it and play this game while it still lasts (and going on the new official catch phrase above, it could be a long time!). You'll likely see me mostly at n00bstories and Jelly.
