Back again with a new Screen for my AK Model,

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.view.php?id=1158437173

Tell me what you think of it now, i rounded off as much of the edges of the Stock and Grip without screwing them up. Put the holes in the Foregrip, added a Shine to the wood areas, etc.

Tell me what you'd think it would look like with a Scope on it, would you like one on it, or not? As with last time, open to any Comments, criticisms, etc.

I don't think an AK 47 ever could, should, and would have a scope on it, It's an assault rifle, not a sniper rifle.

Well, rounding the grip and buttstock screwed them up alot. The easiest way would have been to leave it as flat like it was, and extrude the left and right sides of the grip/buttstock once and scale them down to form the curve. Now it just looks like you stuck it in the microwave. Very Happy

You know absolutely nothing about guns. You really should STFU, all you're doing is making yourself look stupid.

The gun's use has nothing to do with rather or not it can have a scope. Most assault rifles already have special rails to install scopes on, railings can easily be added to most other assault rifles, and there are some very well known SMG's that can have scopes installed on them, and there are even some handguns that can have scopes installed on them.

Oh look, an AK-47 with a scope, but wait, you said it couldn't have one... http://www.williamsandsonarms.com/ak47-rom%20sniper.JPG

Maybe I kinda shouldn't have said could, but It looks really wierd with a scope. I don't think it would work well with a scope, it's not really meant to be a sniper rifle. And I said I don't think, i never said that I'm 100% positive that what I said was true.

scopes rule, i think they look good on any gun, they just have to be the right size. I've seen ak-47's with scopes and It looked pretty cool. They were on tv alot too, alot of those afgan and iraqi snipers/guys that shot at the americans from up on the cliffs then ran away had ak-47's with scopes. But since this gun probly isnt going to be used by a sniper, and wouldn't have the scope function, there would be no sence in putting a scope on it.

If I had a AK-47 of my own, I wouldn't care if it couldnt accuratly fire 5 feet in front of me, I'm getting a scope for the thing. Cause I have or want a scope for every thing I own Very Happy Be it paintball gun, super soaker, anything that you aim and pull a trigger needs a scope.

Not really. Maybe up to 150-200 yards accurately. And that sucks for a rifle in single shot.

actually yes I have. Go to the Americas army forum. Make a post called ak47 Vs. m16. Or you could even look around for one. There are hundreds of links telling you exactly what I said.

The ak-47 has an effective range of about 300-400 meters, the m16a2 has an effective range of about 500-600 meters.

That's why I said I wouldn't care if it couldnt fire 5 feet. If it fired 500 meters I'd put a scope on it, if the bullet dropped out of the barrel onto the ground in front of me I'd put a scope on it.
