150 points can be damn useful, especially when you're behind in points :\

plus, getting rid of the snipers means they won't fuck up your hotwires/technicians. which means, your tanks won't die.

which means, you won't instantly lose.

I dunno man, I'd say that's helpful

Wasn't 150 tbh, not that it matters though. 99 points is killing a full life sakura, which i was not. I don't think the black hand was at full life either...but it's not like it really matters or mattered anyway, we were up by too much at that point any how.

there are usually more useful things a player can do than stick around in the tunnels all game

some people don't play to win or really try to win at all; they're there to get as many kills or as many points as they can, and their team losing or winning makes no difference to them because it's not even on their mind

it's just renegade, and it's been dying since 2003

I only go into tunnels when in need of credits otherwise i usually am on the field or defending the base depending on the situation

Lol. I go into tunnels because i know that i am almost always going to be one of the best snipers on the team (not being cocky, i just have a thing for sniping in renegade). If my team needs more vechs in field though, then that is what i will do. I'm not there to get most kills, but i am there to have fun, and hopefully win. If my team is controlling field well, and the other team is taking tunnels, then ofc i'm going to go snipe, as tunnel control can really make a break a team very easily.
