Dear Renegade Community
I apologise in advance that this may be a bit of a rant, although I do not think it is. Firstly, thank you admins for allowing me permissions to post.
It has been sometime since I have played C&C Renegade, I decided to reinstall the game about a week ago. I downloaded the patch, Renguard, CP2, and then installed Scripts 3.4.4.
My server of choice was SK Gaming, as each day at my night when I logged into the game there was always players in the server. There was never too many, as I wanted to get back into the game first.
A couple of days ago one of the moderators, I believe called something like Zimmier, a full mod, asked me if I was cheating! I was shocked, although somewhat flattered, I was unsure of how to respond. I still remember how this goes, if you say nothing you are suspected more, but if you say anything you are suspected more... I said no, not knowing what else to say.
He/she seemed happy with this and said nothing else, I had forgotten the matter. A handful of days passed and I was starting to ask about the SK Gaming IRC/Website address, so I could potentially start to talk to those within the community.
All this came crashing down though. After a game of some easy sniping, the only real threat being Zimmier and someone named something like CaUaReS, I apologise if these nicknames are incorrect. I was banned by ExPedro for cheating!
I have spent almost an hour aimlessly searching through search engines looking for the SK Gaming Website and/or IRC server, so I can ask what is going on! I even ended up joining multiple IRC servers (the ones I can remember), and asking if anyone knows where I could find ExPedro?
I found another thread within this community website, where another individual had been banned from SK Gaming for cheating, for seemingly no reason as well. From my experience of the server over the last week I had come to the opinion that the community and moderator team were respectable, clearly I was mistaken.
I apologise for writing a long post, without any real point other than to explain my events to people I don't know, but there is a purpose. This is a final ditch attempt, could anyone please help me locate the SK Gaming website and/or IRC server (or where I could find ExPedro), so I can ask what is going on!?
Immediately after being banned/kicked, I minimised the game and started to open up my file directories, to take screenshots to prove that I had no cheats. I quickly realised how pointless this was, as anyone could argue I had deleted them or something. All I can think of is creating a backup of my registry and offering that, so one could search through it for any records of cheating. I had though using Renguard, up to date scripts, and being a friendly player would have been expectable.
I'm sorry again for continuing to type, I really have been put off by these events. I really would like to know what gave them reason to think I cheated... I erm, better stop typing now.

Well, SK-gaming mods kinda fail. They ban people jus for being better than them. If you want my advice. I'd say go play in a different server with better mods.
Also, I have no clue what sk-gaming irc/forums is, sorry.

ExPedro is your typical keyboard banging angry videogamer and to make matters worse, not that fluent in english.
A year later in 2009 I was able to get into the SK server and ExPedro PM's me "need another ban starbuzz?"
I am sorry this happened to you but you don't want to go into that plague-stricken community when there are so many good communities around. I hope you find a good server though. 
ps: btw Ex mods freely use *cheat name removed*.

I can tell you that they don't use the said cheat, but I will agree ExPedro's major assholeness. They are ban happy pricks who ban "cheaters" with little evidence. More than a few HSs on a mod and it's goodbye.

I think these types of threads are retarded, but, play n00bstories IMO. Just keep clear of chatting too much and being an asshole, and you'll be fine. Has pointsfix, anyways.
