Well it starts to load, it loads a black screen with a big egg timer as my cursor, and if I click, it turns to a white screen, and 'Renegade has gone non-responsive', click end and it closes.

Any tips?

Well appearently he uses VISTA or W7 according to the white screen Thumbs Up

I think the easiest way would be reïnstalling using the sticky Listen
But if you like to try other things first:
1. Try 'Run As Admin'
2. Some older C&C games work better in compatibility with XP SP3 (on VISTA. W7 not really)
3. delete anything custom (scripts, shaders, models etc)
4. try to reinstall scripts.dll

Yes I use Vista, ive had a lot of problems with Renegade with Vista and XP. Ill try what you suggested.

I know what your talking about now i encountered it for a bit
reinstall it as admin (after deleting old files) and don't install
scripts until you play at least one online game. thats what i had
to do at least. compatibility is not required but its probably a
good idea. id suggest a XP or 2000 compatibility setting. it my
not work for you but its what i had to do in that situation.
