I was wondering about the Logitech X-540 Surround Sound System. I did some research and these seem to be some kick ass speakers for my laptop.
Now, all I have is the green audio output, so I was wondering if I would be able to hook these up. I have a head phone jack to RCA adapter, so is that the only extra chord I need?
Thanks in advance.

You can hook them up using just the green. I have the x540s and there's a button on the right side of the control panel which is "matrix mode", basically it tries to generate 5.1 from 2 channel audio. It'll work great for music to use all 5 speakers.

You can't go wrong with this set, especially for that price. My buddy's brother has them and they're a mean system, for both gaming and many types of music.

Yeah, I ordered them, and I can't wait to get them! One question though, what is the 'game console adapter?'

Heh, I just got them. They are kick ass! I'm going to have to start using headphones at night though.
