Oh, on second look, it said that in reference to that link...

There is an exhaust trail behind whatever it is that struck the plane. I imagine it must have been some type of missile. The chopper escort probably guided the plane a long way from the secret installation before destroying it.

That site said not to believe what http://www.mountainsub.com had to say, not what that site had to say...
