No, but be sure to kiss your family and friends goodbye and say 'hello' to Doritos and Dew.

I'd rather not pay $15 a month to play a single game. Thumbs Up

I think WoW killed a lot of my real-life friends, who used to have a lot of free time, jobs, and girlfriends, but are now hoard up in their basements playing WoW 10 hours a day eating Wendey's Baconators whenever they get hungry.

Yeah, I never understood the attraction to the game. I've watched people play it - it looks terrible.

With 10-15 million subscribers, Blizzard's making a SHITLOAD of money off of subscriptions alone.

I didn't really have anything positive to say about the game either, until I actually tried it. It really is, if anything else, a complicated but fun RPG.

And both my parents and my two brothers ensure I don't (can't) spend too much time on it anyhow :S

I'm not falling into an addiction pit of despair, unlike the typical player.
It's fun, but I know that nothing horrid will happen to my character if I don't use him for a day or two.
And Renegade still wins for tactics, availability, and just plain fun, so I'm no turncoat. =<

My first WoW experience:
- Camera > How the hell can people play with this spastic camera?
- Movement > Horrible!
- Graphics > Am I playing the right game? This kinda looks like Warcraft 3, but then without the level boundaries. Dont Get It

After 5 minutes of playing I removed the game from my HDD to prevent me from getting a huge trauma. Unfortunately, Blizzard keeps telling the world to try their f***ed up game at trywarcraft dot com.

I hope Blizzard dies a long and slow death untill they are bankrupt. May the financial crisis hit them hard.

They're one of the few fast food places I can stand (outside of the occasional chicken sandwich from Burger King or fries from McDonalds) anymore. Their burgers actually taste like, holy shit, burgers! And not charcoal or paper or cardboard! Also, they have better bread. Don't ask me how it's better, but it's shittons better than McDonalds' crap.

I think that ordering pizza is the most a WoW nerd would do for anything more than cheetos and dew. Not even Wendy's.

I played that game for a few years, then it changed from being good to being dumbed down for the more casual player. I also found out I could play Renegade again, so there's another reason.

My first WoW experience:

This is usually a bad idea. When you first start playing a game and have no idea what to do and what to expect, everything seems terrible. I remember my first XCCOM: UFO Defense experience, and that game seemed nigh-impossible. I wrote it off as a bad game, when I simply hadn't grown acustomed to it.

Needless to say they do, and for long periods of time at once. Maybe the problem lies with you?

That would make sense, since MMOs generally have lower graphical requirements due to how fucking huge everything is, and since WoW was released at around the same time WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne was (They were, in fact, being developed concurrently), and the art style would be consistant since the two games are part of the same series being developed by the same developer.

I'm sure they'll feel the effects of your curse as soon as they're done rolling around in WoW cash, and they small fortune they're going to earn on StarCraft II once the WoW cash runs out, and the small fortune they're going to earn on Diablo III once the StarCraft II cash runs out.

Mindless? You take that back! >:[

I don't really have a problem admitting I'm a fan of Blizzard games. They make excellent games. Personally, I can't speak for WoW since the subscription costs were kind of a turn-off, but they have enough of a reputation for making quality products for statements like this:

You should come by to the Greater Toronto Area, there's a million Wendey's' attatched to the other million Tim Hortons' here. It kills McDonalds/Burger King/all those other crappy fastfood places.

Anyway, it's a terrible game, and you will lose your friends and probably take an extra year of high school.

At my school there are a lot of people who think Obama isn't a US citizen and think that a giant invisible man in the sky created humanity in six days and listens to them when they ask for nicer cars.

Now, what have we learned about "a lot of people"?

I know a guy who plays about 7-14 hours of WoW daily on average. He had to repeat the 12th grade (both semesters), and now he's skipped a month of university to play WoW. He says the lectures don't help him - I can bet that is not the reason why he doesn't go.
